Yes, I’d like a few additional features in housing.

I’d like mounts to have no saddles or armour. They’re at home so shouldn’t be dressed up for war or expedition.

I’d like to be able to pet pets. Initially this could be just for an achievement but it could develop into an optional pet well-being activity.

Most importantly, though, as you say, we need some NPCs in our homes. They could sell existing assets in the Crown Store - a blacksmith, carpenter, etc., or some of the interesting characters like the Nord bloke near the Stormhold Wayshrine who sounds like Sebastian Vettel. I’d like to have Grunirra sweeping up in my home, or Camille Ashton sat next to my enchanting table. I’m not sure if it’s possible to have them walking around since the environment would be unpredictable but minimal animation and the odd line of dialogue would make all the difference to an ultimately staid, lifeless endeavour.

I’m really enjoying Moon Sugar Meadow, more than any other of my homes, but kitt(y)ing it out is the process I feel most guilty about spending time doing because there’s nothing at the end of it other than some stuff in a place. I don’t have the imagination to do anything astonishing but I’ve gone for a festival of races, with each race having its own little area. It’d be nice to have some Orc or Argonian NPCs to populate them. As it is, I’ve got a Soulshriven as a bartender and some target skellingtons as a witches’ coven.
