Right? Im of half a mind to collect all of them. Medium sized homes are often big enough to be a small guild home. And very few people are going to have large guild homes. For the rest, to the home needs to be just big enough for one person's stuff, while being small enough to be convenient. I hate having my stamina bar drain in a home. Unless its for a guild

Many of us have requested more smaller homes, so you're not alone!

I'd prefer all sizes - apartments, small homes, and medium homes. I'd love for these to be available for gold, but ZOS doesn't seem too keen on giving us many more of those. We have gotten a couple of CS-exclusive medium homes recently, but they were somewhat gimmicky - Frostvault Chasm and the Snow Globe. But maybe at least apartments and small homes could be added for gold purchase.

I would also like more home options in the smaller, more affordable range. I would also like them to come in a range of themes ranging from more typical homes to having open spaces (akin to some of the notable homes that have no structures in them). The crown only homes are also a bit of a letdown, I get having some to entice people but it's a real bummer when you want a funky place but realize you would have to spend the price of many games on one.

I like the big houses too but small cosy homes, particularly affordable ones in good locations are very welcome.

filling someplace like the grotto with 700 furnishings you can still look around and wonder if the person furnished it at all. Small homes can be much better for execution of theme before boring people by having them have to explore every corner of a large house, without a mount, to see what you decorated.

I think all of the apartments are located in older cities, right? I love the inn rooms in Rimmen, Alinor and Vivec! It would be lovely to be able to upgrade these to apartments or if apartments could be added to these cities. They are lovely and the crafting sooo much more convenient than in the other cities so I like to have my characters based there. :)

Maybe add a second room to the inn rooms or apartment homes, or up their furniture limits by 20 or so items? Or add apartment homes in three or four more towns? I just can't get into homes so big I have to sprint and pant across them. I'd love more choices in the Sisters apartment to Gardner House size range.

It would be fun to have apartments you could buy in large towers in the downtown areas of every city

I totally agree op we need more tiny homes. 🖒🖒🖒
A tiny moonsugar hut would have been nice maybe with 2 rooms and a little bit of land to grow some moon sugar plants. Im thinking of the size of the cyrodilic jungle house.

I also would like to add here that I want the Rimmen Inn to be a home. The layout of the Rimmen inn is cosy and well designed. I love the stairs, the little landing, the rooms upstairs are cosy and the wooden cut out windows add an exotic touch plus they make the room less claustraphobic.Next time you visit Rimmen Inn remember me and imagine it as your home. It really would make a nice cosy home imo. More of a medium size home but not huge.

Offering tiny homes should not detract from zos huge home sales so Im not sure why they stopped making them.

Please consider making more timy homes zos we would really appreciate it and thank you for all the amazing houses/housing items you have provided.

They should definitely up the item limits of the larger inn rooms by about 20.

So, that would be Saint Delyn's, Golden Gryphon and The Sugar Bowl (although the last one isn't as desperately in need as the others).

It's absolutely ridiculous that the first two are as big, or bigger, than at least two of the apartments (from memory) and yet have 70 less slots...

Yeah, I know - a while ago I suggested the inn in Riverhold would be nice as a house, too.

Ideally, we need a medium to large townhouse, in the same style as the Sugar Bowl inn room (as it's a really nice, cosy style to decorate), with two or three large rooms downstairs and four, or five, smaller rooms (off a landing/corridor) upstairs.

I don't really know why they didn't do something like that to begin with?

I just assumed they would, after the Summerset Townhouse, but no.

This is why I think they might have to make a housing DLC, so they could then entice more people to buy ESO+, or the DLC, to then justify producing more non huge, non Crown Store, houses.

If all the people who normally don't bother with ESO+, but like housing, then got ESO+/bought the DLC(s), it would probably more than justify the extra cost of producing more non-huge, gold buyable, houses.

I don’t know @Tigerseye , the idea of buying a DLC to get the opportunity to buy a house, that sounds like milking your customers twice. What if that house is already in a DLC area, is that 3 purchases then? I don’t want to give them the idea that will work.

There are lots of empty, chained-up houses already in Vvardenfell, Elsweyr, and other areas that could be made into players houses already. They can probably already use floorplans from in-game, seems like a big return from a small effort on the devs part.

@Tigerseye I think it may be the Inn at Riverhold I was also thinking about. Im not on eso atm but necxt time I'll visit Riverhold Inn again.

No profit in small homes, since players can buy with Gold, and the crown-cost isnt even worth the development time.

I'd like to see more medium sized houses with more varied outdoor areas than a hard ground courtyard. Places that backed up to a lake or ocean shoreline. Or had small ponds or streams running through them. To go with this fishing spots you could place in the water.

    Well, no direct profit, no.

But, say it makes some people more inclined to keep getting ESO+ and/or more likely to buy the occasional Crown store item, if they are happy with the gold-purchasable housing provided?

It could work as a sort of loss leader.

If you make everything directly purchasable with real money, it kind of ruins the immersion, in a game, too.

You have to maintain the feeling that people can attain most things, within the game, otherwise they will lose interest in playing it.

People do, after all, buy the game and the chapters.

So, it's not like they're paying nothing for any smaller houses provided with them.
