Cast time on ultimates are doodoo

    zos = audit > community

I'm a sorc main, but when I think of a nightblade, I think of Cloak, Shade, Incap, and Assassins Will.

Incap has always been a blessing for Nightblades, but imagine an aoe incap that pulsates EXTRA damage such as templars crescent? feels cute man :) and there's no cast times to crescent. Not good enough? let burning light do the job for you

Imagine even being a nightblade, zos doesn't care. They prob think nightblade is nothing but a gank class with snipe and that's why they buffed it.

Incap cast times are a *** joke lmao i hope zos will revert this

Snares would be of no help here since dodge rolling is the main that counters everything NB has right now

They dont have to necessarily revert it, they just need to make the ult stun and be more impactful

A cast time on INCAP, seriously ZOS? A nb is a ROGUE class. If you know nothing, which the way you terrible game is going it seems that you either don't know anything or you are just lazy.. NB is supposed to be quick in and out kills, NOT CAST TIMED ABILITIES.

“I want to be able to kill other players without them being able to fight back”. Sorry, but no. Competitive games are supposed to be fun for all participants, not just one. If you just want to be able to instantly assassinate opponents, go use Blade of Woe on NPCs in PvE land.

The game doesn't get competitive by cutting it down to a lvl where someone who just got into the game and managed the basic fighting mechanics can compete with long term players because you have a comparatively eternity to react to burst being thrown at you

Basically you want nightblades to get back cheese kills cause cloak is not OP enough for you to delete your opponent before they can do anything?!?!?!?! Slot concealed weapon, wait for next patch and their "class identity", incap => spectral bow/assassin's will from stealth.

I agree completely. 99% of these complaints disguised as "lowering the skill cap" are in reality just complaints they can no longer cheese their opponents to death with stupid stun + burst combos of instant death. Now they have to actually deal with opponents who get a chance to fight back i.e. skill actually matters now and they hate it.

This is a recipe for completely killing pvp in this game. Less experienced players need to feel like they have at least a tiny chance of defeating a veteran player, but right now that's just not true. It takes a significant amount of skill and experience to be able to fend off an instant-kill burst combo, and even veteran players with good builds can fall prey to a very well executed stealth burst. Cast times on ults give everyone at least a slim chance to react and fight back.

    Don't confuse "skill" with numbers.

No there should be absolutely not even a little chance for a noob to defeat an veteran.
That is what ruins PvP as it completely removes the incentive to get better at the game when you can stay a bad player for all your live and still win fights.

Game balance should be like a big hall in a palace, an even floor with a high ceiling no one wants to be crushed between the floor and the ceiling.

I can guarantee you that I will still delete you from the game even with all the crutches provided to you.

This is why this Forum is nothing but a joke.

if those comments are truth, then why did you make this thread?

the fact of the matter is that popular builds are game glitch, and game exploit dependent, and with the new development team working to correct those problems we are seeing true skill being a primary factor to achieve success in both pvp AND pve.
so as we learn new ways of fighting and learn to make new builds with the changes to win against our enemies with each new patch we grow and learn to make new builds to compensate and continue being successful.

You have 2 pages explaining my reasoning for this thread, go read up.
Nightblade is not in a good spot, its burstiness cannot be compared to other classes and needs help.
With the wide range of arguments against Cast times and no stuns on high damage abilities I hope to change Zenimax's mind on how they should balance my class. Cause right now its getting outclassed

And playing it is turned into a frustrating experience.

i am winning every single fight i get into in pvp right now so far and so are my friends, and we are all nightblades.
we made changes in our builds to this patch just like we do to every single patch since beta.
we go with the changes and build for success.
if you dont like the changes and their result to your build then alter your build just like we do, and you will win just like we are winning.
we are nightblades class just like you.

    and yes i am talking about 1 v x and 1 v 1

There are more issue with desyncs than ever, probably related to cast times. And it is mostly zerglings exploiting actual broken stuff like bow ult, snipe, bugged knock backs and so on. The game isn't becoming less glitchy at all.

But ofc as long an exploit doesn't require more than spamming a single button from inside a zerg, it is fine, after all everyone can do it ...

Well since they said "Class skills should always be better than weapon/guild skills" then I hope Nightblades will get something soon in the next PTS...
