What's your favorite City in Tamriel?

Abah's Landing. It's the only city that feels like a city. I wish they'd go back to this design philosophy.

Alinor and Orsinium sort of followed the model, but were smaller/less dense.

Sunhold was awesome. Too bad it's a public dungeon. :(

Totally agree about Sunhold! It absolutely stunning and so frustrating that it a public dungeon. I wish you could have a optional Instance to visit it after completing the dungeon as a regular city.

Vivec City. Everything you need it next to the wayshrine. Stable/Horse trainer, all crafting tables, cooking fire, alchemy, enchanting, bank, thieves den, etc. Even has a decent selection of guild traders.

This thread is a blast from the past. I still really like a Mournhold architecture, but my favorites now are Vvardenfell cities like Vivec, Balmora, and Sadrith Mora for the exotic feel, soundtrack, and that sweet sweet nostalgia.

Abah's Landing is a masterpiece. A real city maze to get lost in. They haven't been able to top that yet. I hope further Redguard cities look like it.

Rimmen is number one, then Rawl'kha. I love Abah's Landing. I love the beauty of Morrowind too and Alinor. I will keep my eyes open and see if there's anywhere I missed.

Before saying anything, I would like to see Skingrad.
Otherwise ... the Reaver Citadel (maybe the sister-city of Skingrad, Sarchal) is cool.

Just a quick note ... I hope that Skingrad will have the architecture of the Second Empire (that you mistakenly call "colovian style"). And his chapel of Julianos has an imperial architecture.
    I say that because ...

Because in ESO vanilla out of the map, the Skingrad wall and the chapel of Julianos are breton...

This is not the final version ... But like all out of the map, the buildings that you will find are the same of the final version.

The Colovian Estates is probably a chapter by its size and the wealth of the region in terms of lore and scenario... Maybe Skingrad will be anything other than this ... breton horror.

As far as the city I use the most, that would be Shornhelm. For the one that has my favorite atmosphere, that would be the Hollow City. I love how it's a refuge from the oppressiveness that is Coldharbour, and that feeling of being in an oasis of calm and hope in a desert of misery gives it a really cool atmosphere.

Alinor. It's the prettiest city (at least for me).

Vivec, for the same reason everyone else has said: Wayshrine, bank and crafting stations are all together.

Kills my poor Norcal heart to say it, but: Los Angeles, CA. Any city with open, bubbling tar pits full of cool ancient beasties smack in the middle of downtown deserves the highest honors.

Mid-Wilshire isn't downtown, but thanks for the love!

Alinor in Summerset and Skywatch in Auridon. Because it's looking like actual city and not like some ancient ruins or village.
