Dragonknight -- I feel like it's the class that has the strongest presence. They look badass with their draconic spikes and their wings, especially when wielding S&B or a staff.
But specifically, I love Stamina Dragonknight because of the way it plays.
Nightblade. Never played a Dragonknight and Templar. Warden wasn't really fun for me. Sorcerer and Necromancer is okay.
I always liked the idea of playing a Bosmer Assassin.
Dragonknights look amazing but my favorite class is Magicka Nightblade. I am not sure why I still like, I just like it.
The original tool kit was great. It's been watered down a lot.
The animations are great. Strife is a bit clunky though.
Cloaking is good, although more of my magblades are non-Cloakers. I switch back and forth depending, but still mostly a non-Cloaker despite the dot meta. I do not like the sound effect of it.
The ole, "If you're not killing, then you're not healing" play-style is nice. I like getting heals from doing damage; It's handy. But that has been watered down quite a bit from path and strife nerfs.

Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA) Might be joking in comments.

My favorite class was Nightblade but I haven’t played one since Morrowind was released.
Then, my favorite class was Warden until they made the bear 30% less damage and changed my racial stats.
Now I just play whatever story I want to continue. After I finish leveling this stamcro, I think my favorite will be the stamSorc or the stamDk I’ve been keeping in my back pocket.
Templar is my most recommended class though. If a friend from rl wanted my advice I’d tell them Templar regardless of patch balance. Templar has always been and will always be a good class.

Magicka Sorc. I just love the idea of an older, bookish, fussy magick wielder who was preparing for her golden years in relative comfort being yanked into this whole vestige nonsense. Perhaps she was aiming to spend evenings by the fire, hire a few servants, putter around her garden, in general leave others alone and be left alone. Now it's a hot mess of dusting off her abilities and dealing with blisters on her feet and mid grade inns with questionable food.
The All Mighty and Shine Templar i just love the divine warrior look, also it's so easy to play with Templar you can do basically everything with this class and as my signature says i love being a jack of all trades

Jack of all trades. Master of at least one.
- Àrës - Magicka Dragonknight (EP) Persephónē - Magicka Warden (EP) Athēna - Magicka Templar (EP) Hādēs - Magicka Necromancer (EP) Hërmës - Runner Troll (EP)
In terms of preference solely based on the class itself I would say my list would look like:
sorcerer > dragonknight > warden > nightblade > templar > necro
I started with sorc as first char even though it isn't my main atm because there isn't any legit ranger class which I usually play and I figured I rarely play mages I might as well try. I guess I just like sorc cause it was my first char.
Dragonknights cause they feel badass to play.
Warden next because of their theme. I quite dig warden's unique theme (at least I think it is the most unique out of the classes).
Nightblade, I quite like playing NB, I just don't really like cloak being kinda OP and annoying when I need to play against. It pretty much locks in design space, so I got a bit of beef with NBs.
templar: I actually feel templars are a tad bit straightforward. I feel like the general gameplay of templar is not very interesting is all.
Necro: not a fan of calling out pets over and over but those pets are pretty crucial to a necro's gameplay.
I've tried many classes but I always come back to sorcerer, and now it's my main. I have always liked magica classes in elder scrolls or any other game.
There was a point when I would have said my magsorc, but not anymore. I'm trying to find the groove with my stamcro, who is basically a hodgepodge of weapon skills and soul trap. I'm not really feeling it-- I'm still leveling endless arrays of skills and probably still will be leveling them when the next round of catastrophic nerfs hit.
So my magden...? I haven't logged in to her since the patch to see how much she's been hit.
With all these whats your favourite zone/chapter posts, might aswell ask this.
For me I think it's dragonknight the theme is amazing and I just love burning everything to ashes.
Regardless of the ups and downs i have always like dragon knight aswel. Been attached to them from way back just after launch when i was levelling my dark elf dk with sword and board running around stonefalls breathing fire with spikes out my back.
Then wiping large new pvp groups with wings talons, draw essence and standard lol.
Now... not so much that.
Was loving warden, but since I've made my Necro heal it become my favorite.
The class is fun and you can play differently from other healer and still totally efficient for vRaid.
Very well constructed class.
Funny thing I made it few day ago cuz I was not really interested by it before but it was a good surprise ^^
Has the best stamina and magicka themes. Has obvious strengths and weaknesses and has a few of the best thought out skills. If only they could fix their weaker class skills.
Day one Templar, so that’s my favorite class. I always pick the cleric, monk, paladin, Templar Etc. in mmos.
I’ve played every class besides necro.
