In the spirit of offering some low-hanging QOL fruit, can I please just decide for myself which chat channel I'm going to be in? Joining a BG or dungeon finder group switches me to group chat. Leaving the same group puts me in Area chat. If I join a group when I'm in a guild chat, can I just stay in my guild chat until I switch it myself?
I know the big group finder revamp is in the works, and it would be great if the automatic chat switching would end.

✭✭And please let us turn OFF zone chat like we can on PC. Right now, if I want to be in guild chat, I have to have zone chat on. The only way to turn zone chat off is to turn all chat off.0 -

I don't have this issue - I can be in guild or group chat without being in zone chat. But what I want to add to this QoL request (not that I believe for a second that any of it will get done) is to remove the waiting period for changing channels. For some reason when you join chat you have to wait like 6 seconds before you can leave - and then another few seconds before you can join another. It's super annoying when you join the wrong one.0 -
