Yeah its kind of a cool feature in some ways but its mainly a gimmick, can we please have the option to turn them offif desired?

I got the Senche anyway, but the permanently equipped compass makes me like it less.
It would be fine/nice if you only looked at it briefly, after mounting, but to be forced to permanently hold it is not ideal.
I think they would definitely sell more Apex mounts, in general, if they allowed us an option to disable all the handheld accessories, if preferred.
Presumably, it wouldn't be too hard to do, as the option could just return us to the default riding animation.2 -

KingZeldaMaster✭✭✭My only question would be for why you have the mount in the first place if you don't like the compass. I'm not against the idea of being able to disable the effect if one so desires, but I don't find it strictly necessary either. I personally really like the compass effect, but to each their own.
Alternatively, if you want a mount without the compass, just use one of the normal mounts instead of an Apex variation. Problem instantly solved.

✭✭✭They should have a disable for such distractions. A toggle just like for mounts speed, stamina, and capacity.
Nice call Op. Some of the mounts look really nice but that glowing blue globe, ugghhhh.
