Quality of Life Suggestion: Deeper Zoom on World Map.

I play on Xbox and when I'm lorebook hunting or closing psijic portals I mark places on my map for easy travel. However many times the marker I place is
somewhat inaccurate because I can't zoom in properly. Is there any reason to let you zoom all the way?

Plus they made the map smaller when they put in the zone guide. It really frustrates me that you can't zoom in further, for apparently no reason at all. I have an iphone app that gives you really high quality maps at a very tight zoom - why in the world is a third-party app able to do this for free when zos can't do it for the god-knows-how-much-money I've dumped into this game.

But if you could zoom in more, it would be marginally easier to find lore books and time rifts, so no reason to spend crowns on skill lines. I'm sure they won't do anything about it.

I'll agree with this. Especially on Xbox (and probably ps4). I have accounts on both pc and Xbox. On pc, the map is zoomed in further at all levels (meaning even fully zoomed out) so that it's easy to navigate.

On Xbox, when you fully zoom out to see the full map (not including artaeum, coldharbor and clockwork city), all the markers for wayshrines, points of interest, etc. are literally just one giant cluster. Even when you fully zoom in to a specific territory it's difficult to pick out a wayshrine if there are other markers close by like housing, etc. I have to *** the joystick on the controller to get it to stick to the wayshrine. I have no idea why but it's not as bad on pc.

Sometimes I get the feeling that consoles are not a priority.

After years, I recently realized that when you zoom in, hold the trigger and it will stay still while you move the marker, instead of going to the closest discovered location.

Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.
