Relentless Focus - Bugged or Intentional?

Relentless Focus: While active, hitting an enemy with 5 light or heavy attacks converts this ability into Assassin's Scourge, allowing you to fire a spectral arrow for half cost that deals X Disease Damage...

If you light attack the same target 5 times and the ability converts to Assassin's Scourge but then then target dies, you lose the ability to fire the Spectral Arrow even if the ability still has a large amount of duration remaining and you must light attack a new target 5 times to proc it again.

Is it a bug that you lose the arrow proc if your target dies or intended?

If you're out of combat(from killing your only enemy) you lose all stacks including the bow proc.

    Out of combat.

But at this point, lets just say anything that makes the nightblades class weaker, less effective, easier to kill, etc. is probably intentional. Lol

Thats the general direction of each patch.

I've stopped using the skill on my nightblade for dps. It's clearly designed to be a tank skill now, and that's sad because it's such a cool idea. It has always been clunky, but it was so powerful it rewarded skillful play. Now it is weaker in practice than just putting another set it and forget it dot on your bar.
