Cyrodiil Alliance VIPs

This one has an idea with some ideas from @bluebird.

What if you could find VIPS from your Alliance and others? This one thinks that people would try to protect thiers and try to capture the enemy ones. What if you when you hold them for a certain amount of time you get "Bribed" for their safe return by the respective alliance leader. Then everyone that was apart of the effect gets a cut?

The bribe could be actual gold, or maybe Alliance Points like all other objectives? Of course sent through mail like the other rewards.

Maybe these VIPs spawn in outposts, or maybe they spawn randomly out in the wild to be found and captured? Perhaps they could have a set path that could be intercepted - they could be traveling on the road between two Keeps for example?

This one was thinking perks but that sounds too much like the scrolls.

What do you think of this ones idea?

I think your idea would work well to spice things up in Cyro a bit  ZOS tried to add some more exciting features with Volendrung that can spawn, that also shakes things up. I think they're planning on expanding that system with more Daedric artifacts, but that doesn't mean they can't add other features in the future! Anything to funnel some action away from the frontline Keeps with the rest of the zone being mostly dead.

Perhaps your idea could be expanded even further. We could have VIPs that spawn out in the wilds (let's say these VIPs are Scouts for the three Alliances that are trying to report about the enemy's weaknesses) and if your faction manages to defend your Scout until they send their report, you get an offensive bonus for an hour (due to the strategic intel). Another type of VIP could be Supply Caravan, which would move from one Keep or Outpost to another. If players manage to defend the Supply Caravan, they could get a bonus to resource regen and health (due to being well supplied).

All players, whether defending or trying to capture the VIPs would get AP out of it to make participation worthwhile. You're right that perks might be too similar to Scrolls, so if the buffs are too much, then either AP or some gold or some gear satchel would be a decent reward in the mail indeed.

    Sounds like PVE.

How about making random actual players get the VIP tag several times a day? >:)

This one is confused. Fighting other people for a NPC of great interest is PVE?

Personally, I generally don't enjoy "protect the NPC from point A to point B" quests even in PVE.

Besides, we already get a much more dymanic version of that with protecting scroll carriers, or running alongside an Emperor or Volundrung. Those have the benefit of the person being protected being an actual player who can react intelligently to enemy movement and attacks.
