The Bleeding Temple IC quest not complete'able, blocking access to siegemasters uniform costume

There is a new costume with the newest game update.....but we can't get the boxes we need to collect to get the uniform because the base IC quest "The Bleeding Temple" is bugged, and after killing the final daedra boss nothing happens. The quest just hangs.
So, if you want the siegemasters uniform costume, you MUST do the dailies of a toon that has already completed all the base IC district quests.
This bug on this quest has been reported since 2015. No kidding, it's been reported since 2015 and they still put a collectable costume behind the bugged quest with the new update.

✭✭✭I also completed the questline on my 'completion' character recently and now have 7 Merit if Cyrodiil pieces.
From your description, it sounds like something that could be fixed by submitting a 'Quest Bugged' ticket.0 -

Have you gotten past the auto-reply e-mail with standard suggestions? That worked for me in the past.

However, I'm pretty sure I saw the Cyrodiil Recommendation listed in the Tel Var General Merchant's inventory last week, and I've been collecting Merits off and on for a month now.
50 Merits + 1 Recommendation = Siegemaster Costume Runebox, so perhaps ZoS forgot to delete it from current availability

✭Regardless of when the costume is available, the quest is still majorly bugged. I've dropped the quest twice now and done it two more times, every time with the same result. And, there is a new costume helmet that can be purchased right now with the costume proofs.
If you have a new toon, you can't get through the upstairs IC quests at this time. ...if it's broken for me, it's broken for everyone. Go see for yourself.....and yes, I've filled out two help tickets without a reply up til now.Edited by Cavedog on August 25, 2019 1:43PM0 -

Just checked. It's the 'Recognition' for the Close Helm only, not the Recommendation for Costume.
I haven't bought anything from the Tel Var merchants for a couple of years. I must have just saw the Recognition and assumed it was the costume, since there is so little interest in the Helm, I forgot about it.

Just rechecked this, have you checked the map? The quest isn't finished after you kill the final Daedra titan, you need to go talk to Father Ignatious down a well. After you do that you can go turn in the quest.1 -

✭I just rechecked too. It's bugged.
When you kill the last Daedra boss, the Father just runs away. He is not in the hideout, and the map tells me I have to stay in the Arena and kill more minions....that are not there until they respawn again, in which case I can kill them again, and the father runs away again, and nothing else happens.

✭oh, sixth time the charm I guess. Worked finally. I got a chest and progression finally. Now I can go visit the father in his hideout.1 -
Melilotta✭✭✭The quest is still bugged. My characters are doing the IC quests one after another and some of them get this problem with the temple boss. Sometimes relogging helps, sometimes going to Cyrodiil and back does, but sometimes I have to quit the game completely and log in again.
And I don't know about others, but for me this happens only if I'm fighting alone. If there's someone else fighting the boss, the bug doesn't happen and the quest completes ok.1 -
Melilotta✭✭✭And another thing, I think the bug happens if you are far from the boss when you give the final hit. Say, if you are under the arch of a door. If you run into the circle at the end of the fight the quest comletes as normal.0
