Hello!

What is the droprate for the Leviathan 2H Axe like in "Crypt of Hearts" 1 and 2?

Does it matter if it's normal or veteran mode?

Thank you!

dont have an exsact number but it seems to be a hell of a lot higher than any other leviathan weapon on coh1

    50 runs
    7 levi weapons

4 2h axe [called ashurs sundering voice]
    1 sword
    2 mace
    0 greatsword :/

also weapons only drop from chests and the last boss.

    2.2% not including chests.

CoH 2 can drop a special axe, called Athor's Sundering Voice, so I'd definitely do that one, not CoH 1. I don't know the exact percentage for that axe, but in my experience those special items drop "all the time".

Veteran mode has higher chances because the chests have higher difficulty, thus you get more chances on a weapon drop. Depending on your group getting faster through normal mode might still be better, though.

Then I guess normal COH runs would be more efficient, because I could run through the whole dungeon faster, right?

In the end, I could ask if someone received the 2H axe.

Farm CoH I, Illambris Twins have a unique drop called "Athor's Sundering Voice" which is part of the Leviathan set. Hilariously abnormal droprate too, when I was running the dungeon last week farming Leviathan pieces I would get that axe every 6-7 runs.

better to run it in normal, but run it with a proper cp160 group so loot can be shared. Makes no sense pugging it when you might have lvl45s in your group and no way to share it.

Also, running in vet just makes it easier to get the jewelry items. thats about it really. other than that if you are farming items, its much easier to do it in normal.

Always say what your looking for at the start of the dungeon, it never hurts to mention you will tip.

(my general rule is 1K per piece I am after, if I am feeling generous and its the trait I wanted I will often give 10k but that's just me)

The reason I say tell the group right at the start, is because more often than not, group members will leave group right after you kill the final boss, before you even get the chance to type what your looking for in pug groups.

As for crypt of hearts 2, it can often be a pug killer in vet, so unless you have a group of friends who know what they are doing I would strongly avoid playing it with a pug group.

If your dungeon farming play on a tank to get fast queue times, you will be wasting most of your day waiting if you try to farm on a DPS, if you can't find a full group at least find a tank to queue with, it will make life a lot easier.

Well someone gave the drop rate 2,2%, I have not done crypt of hears 2 many times I just do the one because it is very fast and I have 2 Athor's sundering voices and one normal 2h axe.
I think that doing it veteran improves the chances of getting weapons and good things from the final boss but I do not have any data to sustain it, I think I red it somewhere.
Edit: What I mean is that the named seems to drop quite a lot I have done crypt of hears 2 less than 10 times and I have 2.

It took me 479+ runs on nDC and vDC 1 and 2 combined to get a Truth 2H Axe drop for group a year or two ago. So, yeah, it can get pretty bad.

The 2.2% don't include the unique drop. And it's 2.2% per draw, so your chances are obviously higher if you get 4 drops from four players. I mistakenly attributed the twins to CoH 2 though. You need to do CoH1 for the unique drop. You should get a 2h axe pretty fast, similar to a hircine bow in Selenes Web.

479 runs to get one weapon drop is really bad luck.

Well if it is CoH 1 the one that drops the unique axe I have done it some 20 times but it drops well It did not took me long to get one I forget to tell you that is better to do it in veteran because everything will drop purple and is important if you want jewlery and the other things you do not want you can deconstruct for improve materials and it takes a bit more than the normal dungeon but it depends on the group.
I do not know if you also want a bow too for the back bar, I can confirm it exists i got it in my first run ever in the dungeon but I have never seen another.
