Hello!

Can I obtain the "Velidreth" medium head and shoulder set pieces just by buying the pledge boxes from the Undaunted Enclave NPC in Wayrest?

Thank you!

Shoulder - yes, helmet - no. For the head piece you need to finish veteran Cradle of Shadows.

Okay, what about the droprate for the head piece in vCOS?

Does the last boss drop it or is it random loot?

1 in 3? With a couple of runs you should get it as long as not everyone in the group wants it too.

You get the head piece every time from the last boss, it's a guaranteed drop. The weight and trait are random, so the chance to get a medium piece is indeed 1/3 (probably).

You get a guaranteed Velidreth helmet drop after beating the final boss in veteran mode. It’ll be light, medium or heavy though. No guarantee to get the weight of the head piece you want.

You can buy both, from time to time, for gold from the "Golden" in Cyrodiil.

You don't even need the dlc, you only need access to a transmute station. This can be provided by a guild member's house.

If you don’t own the DLC, you can go to a friends player home who has bought the transmute station. If your in a half decent guild, they usually offer this service.

    This.
And you'll also need 50 transmute crystals.
I know you're new, so just putting out that info just in case.
Hate for you to get around a station after doing that particular DLC dungeon and think you just get to change traits.
