If crystal blast hits 4,4k, overload HA should not hit 9k.

Explanation 1: his build is optimised this way.

2: it is overpowered.

Note: how do knight slayer's damage and elemental weapon's damage displayed in recap? Maybe there are hidden damage sources there.

I have hit 19 K also from Executioner at the BG without any CP... So if that one is ok this one also ok it is an Utimate

Were you buffed or blocking? Did you have major evasion on? Are you in heavy armor or running high resists? Do you have expectation that standing in a deadly ultimate should be something you can easily live through? Did you try focusing the sorc?

This isn't like the goliath ultimate where the massive damage came with a 60k health raidboss. The sorcs running these builds are glass cannons. It's not all that different from a bombblade or Synergy bomb. You gotta take the personal precautions you can take because this isn't due to change for another 2 1/3 months or so if it does at all.

this is a usual thing for sorc's, i have had crystal frags in non cp with pvp skill debuff and dk mitagation still hit for 7-10k on normal proc

I`m Nord with 35k resists and those 18k damage happens in 1 second

First thick is instant the second comes 1 second later, so this is 19k damage in 1 second keeping aside the other BS @sharquez

There's alot of setup that goes into gettng those big ticks, Make sure you are not walking into walls of elements as that is what will start the catalyst for the OL ticks. Block, evasion and mistform will get you out of that situation. focus the sorc, get behind them and keep your feet moving and you will make them crumple.
