When the daily quest is the same that you had you cannot repeat it

So it looks like that when you have a daily quest in your journal from another day and you finish it and go to turn it in and the quest giver has the same quest that day for you, you cannot repeat it.
I took a pledge last week and yesterday tryed to do it twice and did not work, it also happens with dailies like delves but i did not get what it was that sometimes if you finished yesterdays quest it did not give you a new one but I guess is the same.

On which platform and mega-server do you play TESO? ZOS cannot investigate whether there is, in fact, a reported bug in the software without that information. (Please read Guidelines For Bug Report Forum.)

Daily quests are re-set each Monday at 2:00 AM Eastern Daylight Savings Time (or 1:00 AM Eastern Standard Time).

Your character cannot receive the same daily quest while it is listed in the character's Journal (because it has already been received). Also, after the current daily quest is completed and submitted, a character cannot receive another daily quest from the same quest-giver before the next re-set.

If a prior daily quest that the character has not fulfilled remains listed in your character's Journal after the re-set, then your character can still complete it and claim the reward whenever you choose. Since submitting it removes the daily quest from the character's Journal, the character should be able to obtain the current daily quest regardless of which one it is.

So, whether attempting to submit a completed quest is rejected because the current daily quest is the same one which has already been fulfilled could be a bug. However, as noted above, your character cannot obtain and complete the same daily quest more than one time before the re-set to the next day. Regardless, the conflict that you report probably happens so rarely that I doubt ZOS will attempt to resolve the issue.

Ok I red it but I did not remember, I play in pc eu.
The dailies from wrothgar are less than a week old so that was before the reset but I think that the pledges where more than a week old from before last patch that was on monday but I am not 100% sure, I looked for a list of daily pledges and crypt of hearts 1 was last on 11 august so according to the calendar they change at 8 in the morning so it was active during the reset it looks like everything would be correct.

This has always been the case. You have never been able to hand in a daily quest and get the exact same one.

It may be a bug, but I've always assumed it's by design.

Please note that Daily Quests such as the ones in Wrothgar are re-set at 2:00 AM each and every day. I don't know which time zone is referenced for the EU mega-server. Nonetheless, if a Daily quest in a character's possession has been shown in the Journal for more than a week, then it was re-set several times before your attempt to complete and submit it.

Please realize that you cannot have two listings for the same quest in the character's Journal at any time.

On the PC NA mega-server, Undaunted pledges are re-set at 8:00 AM each and every Monday (only). So each of the pledges are available for an entire week. As far as I know, your character can complete and submit a pledge at any time during the week before the next re-set. After the pledges are re-set, I don't know whether a character can complete and submit a pledge that was obtained before the re-set on the following Monday. I do not recall that I ever tried to do it.

Yes well, it is not getting the same daily is that when it is the same one is that sometimes you hand the quest from a previous day the quest giver does not give you a quest at all and I was guessing that it could be the same as with pledges when he is going to give you the same quest as the previous day he gives no quest, the thing is that aside form pledges I had a previous day quest and when i finished it the daily quest giver did not gave a new quest and that has happened to me some times with quests I have in the jurnal for days and finally some day i finish it and want to do two that day and the quest giver does not give a new one and was thinking that could be the same that with the pledges but the quests should be reset.
shadowshire i did not really understood the last part because my native language is not english but it did not pass two mondays in between pledges but a monday the thing is i took it on sunday 11 and and I do not know if it reset on monday morning or not and finished the quest on saturday 17 when i wrote the post, the thing is i did not know this thing about quests resets and do not know either when it is in the eu server the pledges reset.

Not a bug, working as designed, you cannot repeat a specific daily repeatable quest in the same day.

Note that

pledges only repeat every 12 days or so (14 now, for DLC dungeon pledges)
wrothgar delve dailies may repeat through the same delve quests every 3-6 days depending on whether you have done the required quests for some of the delves or not.
CWC crow dailies used to have a specific quest repeat two days in a row, but they fixed that about 6 months ago.
the mage/fighter/undaunted guild dailies have 15 zones to cycle through
There are a few quest situations which appear to hold up availability of certain dailies, e.g. while you have the last quest of the Dark Brotherhood in your journal, you can't do Sacrement dailies (the quest giver gave you a different job to do first), and if you do the quest in Watcher's Hold (Wrothgar), you can't pick up any new Wrothgar delve dailies until you turn that one in, because it counts as a delve daily.

Yes, ok but the quest giver in the case of dailies could give another quest that it is not the same one because he does not give the same quest to everyone the same day he could give you one diferent, but is not a bug is how it is and is good to know.
