Billing before bank items are returned?

My items went missing from my bank on the 31st of March. I have had this happen before in MMO's and when I log in the next day things are returned. No big deal. When I noticed they didn't return on the 1st I submitted a ticket. 2 weeks go by and no items have been returned. I am patient, but what about when it gets time for you to use my credit card number? I am not sure you deserve to have access to it after I have given you a month to resolve these known issues. I fully planed on playing this game for the next few years. It's just that paying for something to be stolen from me seems to leave a nasty taste in my bank account.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, believe it or not, this falls under the ToS you agreed to. You're welcome to not subscribe, but you don't get to host some public forum on whether or not you should have to pay the money for any subscription you do make.

I've been hit by the bug twice .. that said, I don't think stolen means what you think it does.

The ToS include clauses about bugs/server downtime. You don't get to withhold money from your subscription because of a bug.

If you don't want to subscribe, don't. But you can't just say, "I'm holding this month's payment until [x] happens."

I think what you're trying to say is that _legally_ ZOS can't be held accountable for a game bug.

However that's irrelevant to the discussion, because this isn't a class action lawsuit petition thread. It's just someone complaining about poor service with their specific issue.

If ZOS needs legal advice, you should probably leave it to the experts.

I'd say cancel your account now, you should still be able to play until your free time runs out. You can always resubscribe should they fix your issue.

Assuming you feel as strongly about this as I'm guessing you do. Certainly don't wait til they bill you and try to get a refund because your problem isn't fixed.

Basically you have to put up with whatever if you want to play the game. Caveat emptor.

If you choose to cancel your sub, that is your prerogative, but I seriously doubt it will impact the priority given to the bug you have experienced or the expediency of it's resolution.

I hate to say this but you won't get anything back. They may give you something but I doubt you will get any items &/or gold back.

You don't get to withhold payment; but that said, you can always cancel your subscription (and thus stop playing). For those that would suggest canceling, they are just flamers trolling threads. You do have a right to be annoyed. Don't let these kind of bugs get you discouraged; keep playing and enjoy. Problems like these are being taken care of. Also, the ToU, section 6, has this to say...
    6. Availability of Services and Content; Game Maintenance, Patches, Updates; Termination of Services

ZeniMax does not guarantee that any Services will be available at all times[...]
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

Maybe they will throw a goodwill gesture to those that have suffered, say a vanity pet or something. Who knows?

But as others have mentioned, you cannot with hold funds, but you can refuse to pay your subscription.

I haven't had this issue yet, but as I am still only lvl 10 and still yet to settle on a main, I wouldn't be too fussed with my bank items disappearing. But I can understand other peoples view, especially if their banks filled with rare mats and the like.
Who has time? But if we never take time how can we ever have time?

You don't have a bill for April so there is nothing to cancel. If you want to unsubscribe and not pay in May go ahead. That is what the unsubscribe feature is for.
