This won't help ZoS team fix them as they get evinced by other threads.
Please use the Bug report discussion to keep things clean an show to ZoS how broken is the game.
Don't forgot they use the bug report section as a reporting tool for their monthly incident calls/meetings

We tried to, it doesn't work. It's not a Bug Reports thread. It's a void.

I used to post in the bug thread forum, but unless it's about a texture or a crown store problem there are never any responses from ZOS in there. At least in General, other players will actually see the post and confirm or explain the problem.

We do. Our QA team reviews this section regularly, and it's much more helpful and efficient if bug reports are posted there instead of general discussion.

It might be nice if there were some way they could indicate that issues have been seen or added to a backlog. Sometimes it seems like the whole section is a black hole where nothing is ever read.

@ZOS_GinaBruno then why do we only see that few bug fixed every patch if we compare to the megaton we're reporting in game and on forums ?

It's about time to do a full "bug fixes" patch. Enough is enough, the game is very unstable and your loosing your customer base because you spend more time adding new content than taking time to stabilize the game.

It really does seem like it's been too long that every update there's only a few of the low hanging fruit fixes.

    Absolutely not.

Their sense of urgency in fixing their game is pathetic. Its over the course of 10 or so months, not even starting until the end of the year. This isn't how you do business. If this was any other product on the market it would be recalled until fixed.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I think one of the reasons many players post their bug reports to the General Discussion section is because they feel like it will get more attention there compared to if they had posted it in the Bug Report section. With more traffic in the General Discussion section they feel as though more players will view/comment on it and if it receives more attention from players it might have a higher chance of being seen/addressed by devs.

Since most of the threads in the Bug Report section don't have any comments from devs it can appear as though the reports aren't being seen (especially if it's a thread that has been bumped for months without any acknowledgement). So it can be confusing to guess whether or not certain reports are actively being looked at, if a fix is actively being made, or if a fix has been made and will be released in the near future. I've made a thread about it in the past (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/447611/forums-needs-an-official-known-bugs-issues-section#latest), but I believe having a "Known Bugs/Issues" section would be beneficial since it would communicate to the community which reports have been investigated, the ones that are currently being investigated, the ones which have received a fix, the ones which need more information, etc :) that way the community doesn't have to wonder if certain reports/bugs have been looked at and it would reassure them their reports are indeed being looked at (which would help to alleviate the thread bumping and duplicate threads).

@ZOS_GinaBruno do you think there could be some sort of status post perhaps just a QA typing "read" even just to know if an issue is at least known about? For example I raised a bug report about player location desync and rollbacks in combat months ago with no comment. It still occurs but seems pointless to raise again if it's being looked at.

This is a big part of what I think a lot of people are talking about when they complain about poor communication. A big road map announcement for the plan in 6 months does less than responding to problems/questions quickly. Even if that response isn't loaded with answers and resolutions.
Ignoring threads except when they violate forum rules just gives the impression that no one cares about real game issues.

This, for real. ZOS could save so many people from feeling frustrated if they just at least acknowledged stuff. Even if they're not planning on working on it right now, or have more pressing issue, just a simple "Yeah, we are aware of this now" would go a long way to boost people's morale about this game. A known issues list would be <3 as well.

It would be nice if the bug report section would have some feedback at the top of every thread.
    Something like:
    • new - entry has not yet been reviewed and seen by QA team
    • more information required - if QA team can't work with the information provided - in this case giving out details what is missing would be extremely helpful
    • acknowledged - QA team reviewed the thread and thinks there is enough information in there to investigate - at this stage it's in a backlog
    • confirmed - QA team have enough evidence/was able to reproduce the issue - the bug is confirmed to be a bug
    • rejected - QA team was not able to reproduce the bug / the behavior is intentional, not a bug
    • duplicate - link to the original thread which reported the issue so everybody can keep commenting there
