my favorite is the kitchen, just be cautious 90% items are redguard style. but it is one of the best. -20% off is really good.

The last kitchen pack I bought had a recipe book that had all the Writ recipes in it. If this is the same, hmmm....

Why spend clowns on things you can simply craft or buy in guild stores? At least 80% of the stuff is craftable.

A few months ago I bought a really large charcoal grill with attached smoker, so there will be a good size Labor Day BBQ. Me and my partner are planning on going to Walt Disney World for 7 days, at the Boardwalk Hotel, with a waterview no less. Oh, and recently we each bought a 21,000 Crown pack.

So, it is possible to do more than one thing with your own money. In a sense, unless your money is for food, shelter, and clothing, it is wasted.

Game runs like garbage on console and PC EU, necro bash is still not fixed on console, multi-bid trader fiasco has resulted in trading guilds getting multiple emails saying that they won their bids, when they actually didn’t, and random people have snatched up prime trading locations for 10k gold...

But sure, let’s check out the crown store. 😂

Sorry for not sharing your enthusiasm.
After last night's disaster on PC-EU (and ZOS's lacking statement) I don't feel like spending money in the Crown Store...

Huh, until they break your house in the next patch and it falls through the universe :( I'm sorry after the last day in Cyro unplayable and breaking guild traders again, it's going to be a while before I waste crowns on zos. Rather grind the mats and build the stuff myself or buy it from fellow guild crafters. But that's just me. It is nice that you're so positive ;)

Said ironically by the guy who is going to Disney land.....presumably to NOT see any of thr attractions, only utilizing the hotel, and food vendors, and to buy swanky Disney clothes....dont wanna waste any money. :)

(It is safe to say that spending some money on things you enjoy as long as its not detrimental to your long term physical survival, might actually be considered beneficial rather than wasteful).

Before you buy such crown furniture packs, always check if they are craftable. Often, they are, minus very few unique items.

Not having a charcoal grill with an attached smoker, I feel as if a hole exists in my life. This needs correcting!

Oh, we will be going to the attractions, as many as we can fit in. Could have gone to a cheaper hotel on or off property but it's for our 25th anniversary.

I find it weird that a bunch of furniture packs that is called "multicultural" is only Redguard themed. How is that multicultural? Couldn't it be a mix of redguard, khajiit and breton or something?

Also, these furniture packs is really not worth crowns. Many of the things are craftable or can be replaced by something very similar.

When a combat focused mmo adds housing/interior decorator sim years after launch it's downhill from there. Hopefully the new lotro wont add that garbage fluff.

One does not "simply" buy things in guild stores, alas :D If I were in the fake housing market, I'd rather plunk down some cash and pick up an item collection with two clicks and 30 seconds of effort then 11 kajillion years of fruitless searching and loading screens for items or crafting recipes.

Luckily, I have my real house to keep me occupied and I'm a cheapskate ;)

Pretty sure I'm playing a MMORPG. And I can guess LotRO being LotRO is also an mmorpg, and housing is very popular in those. So don't hold your breath.

The original LOTRO has had housing for over ten years, as well as combat, quests, trial/raids and PvP. (yes it's an MMORPG) . ESO was very late to the party with outfits, dyes and housing. I see no correlation between offering housing and offering decent combat. Good MMO's offer both.

However, I do wish the crown store money went on performance and server upgrades rather than exec wages, marketing department nonsense and shareholders profits, so that the product we pay for in one way or another was fit for purpose. But hey, that's business these days, hook 'em in, extract the cash, provide the minimum and churn em out. Long term business and customer loyalty is no longer the aim of most game company's accountants and shareholders. Short term churn and burn and watch your stocks go up, is. Particularly as MMO's have a inbuilt disincentive to leave and inbuilt gambling/risk reward systems carefully strategised by behaviourists and consumer psychologists to ensure people keep paying and playing no matter how degraded the product has become.

Anyway enough of the tangent. Thanks OP for the heads up about the store. I prefer to craft for my house but paying for convenience is a legit option too.

Did zos hire a new team for everything that goes into housing? If they didn't, that's an issue.

Now employee time is spread even further on bugs, performance, quality, coding, design, etc... to produce & fix that fluff; fluff content that is hit the least with "game breaking" issues.
