Srsly tho, wth is the drop rate in there for daggers or really any DW weapon?
Ran Mag sorc, magplar, mag nb, stam warden, stam necro, stam Dk. Drops are:
1. 1 x Dagger
2. 18 x Restro
3. 7 x 1h and shield
4. 5 x 2H Great Sword
5. 6 x Battle Axe
6. 4 x Maul
7. 6 x Inferno
8. 4 x Lighting
9. 8 x Axe
10. 15 x Mace
11. 6 x Bow
12. 12 x Sword
Restro and 1H maces simply rained on me!
Got 5 Flawless through (3 Mag + 2 Stam)
I put this through a chi square goodness of fit test to determine if "this sample" could have come from a uniform distribution (i.e. equal chance for all weapons), The test results was there is a 0.0% chance that a uniform distribution could have produced these results. Its not exactly 0%, its just a real small number.
I understand that when you add up everyone's highs and lows they may even out across people, but individually in the short term there is strong evidence that some people have higher probabilities for some weapons and lower for others, which stinks if you are looking for daggers in the above. In other words yes it is an RNG determining what you get, just not the way you think it should.
PS I actually think the expected values for the one handers need to be doubled since they drop in pairs, I ran the test this way and got virtually the same result. The probability is not equal for the weapons and the chance of being wrong is 0.1% which is not absolute proof, but certainly enough to warrant investigation.

Nevasca✭✭✭✭✭What made my grind more tolerable back in the days, was only shooting for the weekly rewards. As in, I'd do it with as much characters as I could (3 at the time), and then played the game normally. Unless you're sorc, it's pretty easy to get into the weekly learderboards, especially DK and Templar, since people avoid doing on those.
I usually shoot for no death since those are the best scores for me, sigils don't take that much points from you if you use them wisely, I like to take regen on 7th arena boss for example.0 -
AndyMac✭✭✭✭✭I only ran vMA for the style pages to sell - did about 10 runs in total just on my mDK main because vMA gets old pretty quickly with back to back runs.
RNG seemed pretty good this event - a real mix of stam and mag weapons. Another inferno staff for the collection.
I really don’t need more weapons tho - many previous runs and leaderboard mails mean I have more of them all than I will ever use.

Got cruel flurry set(dagger and sword), two handed axe, lightning and rest staves, three bows and got a gold precise inferno staff. Rngesus was kind to me after all the multiple failures over the past year trying to beat it.1 -
ThePlayer✭✭✭✭If the Orsinium event push players to do it more often is better ZOS change the loot system for all the daily and weekly in the game.
You cant do run in dungeons, arena, trials, just for gear, you need something else, otherwise the game is likely to become boring and all these beautiful new areas will be of no use.0
