Myabe it's time for the PC-EU population...

To permanently relocate to the NA server.

It seems issues only get taken seriously on PC if they affect the NA server, nothing ever gets done to address the EU one. It gets used for beta testing and then when things go wrong ZOS shrugs and keeps on ignoring stuff. So maybe we should all move over there?

I do find it interesting how it is now 5:00 (quitting time) at ZOS HQ and there have been no updates since the we’re investigating message early this morning. It sure gives the impression that ZOS is not concerned at all about this issue despite the massive player outrage. I guess the ostrich approach is one way to deal with a problem.

Guess what would happen if we all migrated over to the NA server en masse!

Zenimax would start charging us crowns for copying our chars and achievements and houses and everything to NA. Thats what would happen.

That would make for a very interesting game, I guess. :D
On the other hand... Instead of PC EU failing and NA being fine it would probably just split the crowd into the "early day crowd vs. later day (primetime) crowd".
Most of EU will log in when NA is still asleep or at work. When early evening rolls around on east coast, EU crowd is mostly off to bed, when it comes for the west coast EU is soundly asleep.
So the "early day" (=EU) crowd will get to see lag and bugs and fails, and most of them will miraculously disappear when the "later day" crowd of NA is playing.
That's under the assumption that the NA servers are at roughly the same capacity as the EU servers. But usually they only have to handle NA (USA+Kanada = ESO players out of 370 million people), stretched over 4 to 5 time zones. EU has to deal with Europe (ESO players out of 740 million people), stretched over only 2 to 3 time zones.

Edit: But hey - most problems would occur while people at ZOS are actually at work to take notice ! Then again - they'd just do what they did the whole day today.

Its easier to mess with NA since they have a studio by the server. Its interesting that issues affect both differently though, shouldn't be the case.

Software stuff can be messed with remotely. Only thing that demand you be "on location" is if it's hardware not software related. The ZOS staff could mess with the software (ie coding, ie what they're supposed to be messing with) just fine via overseas connection.
