    It's not time.

The base game has 1,800 storage slots, or 360,000 stacked items.

Additional Characters and Housing storage takes that to 4,160 storage slots, or 832,000 stacked items.

ESO+ is not required. Is the Craft Bag a convenience with subscription? Sure. But there is plenty of inventory space without it.

A bit biased this poll, isn't it? :D
But I agree with you. There are too many mats for this game to be playable without the crafting bag.

Not gonna happen. Crafting Bag and the associated inventory issues that happen without it is one of the main reasons people subscribe.

Why on earth would ZOS shoot themselves in the profits by devaluing the current Crafting Bag?

Server load issues won't be helped by increasing storage limits. Some players just need to adopt a different approach to hoarding complete sets that will never be used, or massive multiple stacks of mats, etc.

Lol right back at you. 7,200+ hours of game time with nearly all the achievements and all of the content itself completed.

I have found that delves, dungeons, and trials have an endless supply of gear. I keep only the stuff I feel is a PITA to farm. Even so, I presently have 982 individual set pieces in my inventories of bank, housing storage, and 13 characters.

Organization is key. Eschewing greed and hoarding disease are obligatory. Both are easy to do. Treat the game's loot drops as unlimited storage.

You do realise that ESO+ pays for the games upkeep right?

You can get the Craft Bag for the low low low price of a monthly sub. Less than the price of a lunch.

And, you get back the cost of the sub in crowns, so the sub is really free if you think about it.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The subscription is a bargain. If you play three hours a month it is cheaper entertainment than going to see a movie. It is about the same price as three rounds of mini golf. Or you and a friend can go bowling for an hour if you own your own shoes.

You could probably run around outside in the sprinkler for a few hours cheaper but that is about it.

Eso+ accidentally runs out... you don’t notice. You log in to your project build. Realize you need the bloodspawn off your other toon... you switch... you prance up to the “bank” and proceed to see that you are 250 slot over filled in the bank.

You have other toons you could unload the bank into... sorta. But it’s much quicker to pull the CC out the wallet and purchase ESO+.

Free craft bag is how you get stuck paying for +. Where do all these THOUSANDS of mats gonna go? Lol

I don't think this would be fair with people who pay for the sub, while you just want free slots.

I'm without ESO+ right now and miss it every day, but I can manage my stuff in most cases, however I'm a crafter and literally loot everything, everywhere.

I would say okay for having more bank space, but if ZOS started giving everyone features from ESo+ than what's the point of subbing and paying for it? Now folks want only extra slots for mats, tomorrow they would want +10000xp and so on...

Threads like this demonstrate that Zos' business people did make a great business decision to lock the crafting bag behind ESO+.

So Zos' answer is if you want the crafting bag then subscribe. They have provided that response.

Zos' recent explanation for why they are not offering a furniture bag would also be the reason for not adding to our bank size. It adds to the server load. It made sense to me after I remembered the last increase to storage Zos provided where the chests which are separate and as such would require less work from the server.

Edit: In case some are not familiar with the response from Zos I mention. Zos stated that the number of different furnishings is significantly more than the number of different crafting matts and as such would add more load to the server. The same would apply to the rest of our inventory since that is mostly different sets of gear.
