Cowards gear not always giving major expedition on sprint?

I noticed that with my cowards gear sometimes I dont get the major expedition bonus when sprinting, I then have to stop sprinting for a second and then start sprinting again. Is this a bug or is a there something im missing here? Anyone else see this happening??

Actually it isn't and im not doing any bar swapping when it happens. I have mostly noticed it when starting to sprint after harvesting. I use it with darkstride where I have dual wielding daggers on front bar and bow on backbar.

If you sprint immediately after harvesting a node, sometimes there is a delay while the server 'digests' the item drops. I suppose perhaps due to assigning item IDs and updating your account data. It acts like a snare.

Maybe that is the cause? It's pretty ridiculous though if it is, it lasts a long time at least 10 seconds, unless I stop sprinting and start sprinting again. It's just annoying and often I dont notice it right away.

I notice an occasional brief snare effect and chalk it up to lag. Updating my account inventory (e.g. updating mat tallies in my craft bag) is probably a very low server priority relative to other things

I now recollect that ZoS made an adjustment to the Coward's Gear set a while back, because it was possible to trigger Major Protection under certain conditions without actually sprinting. This change may exacerbate the condition you are experiencing.

Have you talked with the character about this? Maybe they are tired from you pushing them so hard.

its a bug, i use the set for the same thing, harvesting just like you described.
same thing happens to me. been this way for a long time.

I use Coward weapons. I fix the issue with wep swap. Sorry I don't have a real answer though.

Some of the medium armor sets don't proc as often or even at all like weapons and jewelry do of the same set. I've noticed that on live. Maybe submit a bug report?
