That would require them to rework the CP system so that hybrids are actually viable, which they won't do. And if they do? They'll *** it up royally as per the norm.

I can understand the Stamina bias, 4 weapon lines with 4 sub classes all having different perks, vs 1 weapon line with 3 sub classes all having different perks, if we were to have Spell Crafting.
Yeah magicka already has all the class skills, while stam gets along with a few garbage weapon line skills but yeah let’s give them more lol.

This is not about magicka abilities and stamina abilities. Rather, magicka has no viable melee weapon to use, and are thus, force to use ranged magicka weapons on melee magicka builds. Not all magicka specs are ranged, just as not all stamina specs are melee.
