Not even sure if posts like this are allowed, but here goes....

Your latest one bar magsorc build for VMA FINALLY allowed me to clear that bane of my existence. For the last two years...TWO...I refused to enter that Arena again after all the misery I experienced in there. So there my stamsorc sat, stuck on the final stage. Incomplete.
But then you went and released your new build and a new hope stirred in me. I watched it in disbelief at the build's simplicity. Perhaps I finally had been tossed a lifeline. So I dusted off my magsorc and started anew.
And I did it!!!! (Don't care if people may call it a cheese build or whatevs. I finished that place!)
Thank you again for the build, the confidence and being a great resource for the community. Hopefully this isn't too much positivity for these forums
[Also, no slight to those who will say, "so and so had that build out blah, blah, blah..." Good on them. I just came across it on Alcast's site. All love here.]

✭I've never done MA before until this event and used Alcast's guide as well for a first run clear, thanks to him for that.
After scalebreaker update, I find Hack the Minotaur's templar build to be much easier since pet dps was nerfed badly and things die too slow.4 -

Finished it after. Hardened ward got buffed and shield spam is pretty much key to this build. My shield went from 15k to 17k.

✭Thanks, I'll check it out! I am a templar and although I got past the frozen lake with the 1bar petsorc, I am too unfamilliar with the class to be comfortable with it.2 -

VDoom1✭✭✭✭✭I have repeatedly hesitated with using other peoples builds, even the ones that Alcast creates. Isn't it best to make my own? However posts like this change my mind. I am still working on doing a good amount of damage, so why not learn from pro or people who know what they are talking about.

Step 1: Drop wall of elements and heavy attack with a lightning stick in level 40 gear
Step 2: Turn off your damage numbers to hide the shame
Step 3: Grab all sigils during add fights and go for broke during boss fights
Step 4: If you die, throw a controller/mouse, delete and kick yourself from VMA and grab the mission again.
Works almost never of the time

His build was pretty much similar and may be many have tailored his build.

it was fantastic!
It was funny. I had 50 minutes to kill before heading to a soccer match so I decided to just log in for daily reward. But as I was sitting on stage 9 I decided to give it a go once more knowing I had an excuse to put the controller down. My wife and I sit opposite each other at our PCs and she knew something was up as I went all quiet and just heard me working the controls frantically. Afterwards she said she'd dare not interrupt me cuz she knew "something was up."

He didn't rage quit, he quit because of personal reasons. He actually made a video about it on his channel.EU PC6 -

He was so angry on ZOS due to CP system changes and nerf to classes and sustain.
