I absolutely adore this game!

I started back in the "Elder Scrolls" games with "Arena" in 1994, "Daggerfall" in 1996 and "Morrowind" in 2001. The online version is just a perfect combination of those good old classics that get better and better. The first time I was back in Daggerfall in ESO I felt back home. This is a magical moment in my life.

Moreover, the community is extremely helpful.

With a lot of humor I classify salty players in pugs just as bad roleplayers. This is Tamriel and not a replacement for personal anger treatment. I've met people that roleplay even in pugs and learnt the lore of Elder Scrolls. This is amazing experience!

To put it all in a nutshell: Well done Zenimax and Bethesda for creating this masterful piece of art.

Back in time while i play morrowind, i was telling myself "the only thing i miss now is to be able to play this masterpiece with other ppl" Now we have it. Elder scrolls game mmo. is great. But in the same time i was wrong. Wasnt the only thing i missed (didnt know it then)
    This i adore the most:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZU0flOQG9c

Video is not linked to be liked, just to show how versatile and diferent combat sistem we have compared to other games.
THIS is the most importand thing making EsO game N1 in my MMO list. And my MMO list is long :)
Dont judge me about stats, gameplay, skill setup or dmg numbers pls.
I`m with full impen gear and my setup is far from meta / thanks god/ MS lag is because i upload in time of recording.

    Keep it this way ZoS.
Thanks for all you give us.
    Cheers.

You know what? The game has its problems, but fair play to you for finding joy in it. Hopefully, the game has a future where we all (or at least most of us) can find that same joy in ESO.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.

I knew when I first played the game at PC launch that it would be my main MMO home for years to come, and so it has proved to be - and continues to be. If we could just have a decent trading system it would be perfect for me, but as it is there is nothing to compete with it for me - and there are some other decent games out there.

I actually adore this game too. And trust me I complain and whine and protest and belittle and criticize and moan... but I wouldn’t do that if I thought the game was trash. I’d just leave instead of hoping they do better. Case in point, started to play ES:Blades, gave them some feedback, played after “early release” was done... still a terrible game. Didn’t go back to the forum to encourage them to improve. If I enjoy a game I’m on the forums speaking my piece.

It's really nice to be able to visit most of Tamriel once again. It's not perfect, but lore and landscape teams really put a lot of effort in game.

I wish they referenced Daggerfall game more - it's sad that no music made it into ESO like some tracks from other chapters did. Or, for example, they could make Sentinel's castle the same distinctive shape. But on the other side they managed to capture it's "dark" atmosphere in cemeteries and those swampy Glenumbra parts.
    Hammerfell was done really well.
Nice to see cities from Arena too.

Vvardenfell is good and bad at the same time. Flora is too lush in my opinion, and I don't understand changes in cities' fundamental plans and walls like in Balmora. Skyrim-style dwemer ruins is a big no for me. But mostly they preserved it well, and I love some features like half-buried 6th house settlement and group of archeologist working on it, so neat! Or alive Galur Ritari.

Overall ESO really feels nostalgic for someone who spent a lot of time in other TES games.

I try to remember that every time battle team screw something in the latest patch.

As much trashing I do of the every day decisions and performance I do enjoy the game immensely. I got my start back with the Morrowind GOTY Edition on Xbox and have enjoyed it since. The bugs need to be fixed and the performance needs to be completely overhauled but I wouldn't keep playing if I wasn't drawn in. So kudos to you OP for fighting the light at the end of the tunnel.

This game has alot of issues especially of the performance variety but coming to this game from gw2 other than combat mechanics this game craps all over gw2, literally everything else is so much better and I was(still kinda am a gw2 fan) the quests, story and even balance is so much better in this game. I kno the balance part surprises most cuz how could I think eso has any kinda balance right?lol well in gw2 their squishy rogue class has the same and at times lower bursts than the high sustain more tanky classes lol and the pve is mind numbingly boring. I tried wow with a bud and the combat was so slow it felt unresponsive even though I know it was just how the combat mechanics were at the time but I couldn't stand it for more than a week but I tried. To add the grx are so dated the toons looked like
    Marshmallow people lol.
Like I said this game has a lot of issues but as a whole beast the other options available at this time at least imo.

No game is perfect. No game is all things to all people. The only important thing is, is the game fun and do I feel like I spent my time well playing it.

Yes it is fun, and the time is well spent.

I agree with you @fetito666 this is a wonderful game.

My introduction to Elder Scrolls was with Morrowind. I have played hundreds of hours each in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I did not immediately start playing ESO after it came out. Yes, I took note of it, but I was a single player only type of player. Additionally, I ended up going through a phase of my life where I almost stopped playing video games altogether. I ended up at a point where the only video game I played was Skyrim, and after close to 500 hours on a single character, I ended up stopping playing Skyrim as well. I was still interested in ESO, because I am a huge Elder Scrolls fan, so I continued carefully looking into it. One of the things I wanted to find out was if I could play the kind of game I wanted to play and not be bogged down by having to play with other people or feeling that if I stopped playing then I might fall behind as seems to happen frequently with MMO games.

I eventually met someone who plays it on Playstation, and got a few questions answered and now, I have been playing Elder Scrolls online since just before One Tamriel. I am somewhere between 900 and 1000 CP. I have a dual bow build warden who happily fits my stealthy bow build character type I like to play. I was a little disappointed when they took away the Wood Elf Stealth bonus, but I have adapted and it does not bug me anymore. I have started to grow to where I like the fall damage reduction a lot either way.

With the knowledge of Elder Scrolls 6 being in development, I decided to pick up Skyrim again for the first time in years, and found it really hard to create the kind of challenge I have grown to love from ESO. I have almost found the balance I want, but I have also found myself actually role playing my character, something I have never done in my time through the various Elder Scrolls games. Previously I just enjoyed exploring the worlds and often mindlessly running through different quests. It is a wonderful new experience I have discovered.

When I first started playing ESO, I always thought, I would drop it like a bad habit when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, but now I see they offer two entirely different experienced in the world I have grown to love over nearly the past 20 years. I look forward to the coming challenges that ESO offers and I look forward to role playing through the various Elder Scrolls games all at the same time.

While it certainly had a rough start, I think Zenimax has found a good stride with where they are trying to take ESO. I would still love my stealth bonus back for my little bosmer who I want to get the God Killer title for, because that fits her personality so perfectly.

I have played so many mmo's back in the day. But TESO wins them all with ease. It has everything I ever dreamed of as a kid (and as an adult). I love the surroundings, the lore, the fact that you can be a cat character and surround yourself with cats (yeah i'm a cat person lol), that you can play it solo (which is amazing considering other mmo's force you to be in a group) and that you can decorate your house like you want! This game is amazing and has everything I've been missing out on other mmo games. So yeah in my opinion: A BIG thumbs up to the creators of TESO!!! You made my inner child happy again. Its like entering Disneyland for me every time I enter the game lol.

I agree, ESO is a great game.

I don't mind the combat changes over the years as for me it keeps the game fresh, & the qol stuff keeps getting better.

Now if they could finally get performance fixed. An MMO that runs like crap really kills off all the other great stuff.
