Maintenance for the week of February 23:

Quantity of chromium grains adquired with new changes

Good day everyone.
I had hopes on changes on how chromium grains were adquired, so jewelry wasnt so absurdly expensive after all this time.
On the 3 days, on all my toons i discovered that:
- Very small chance of getting a chromium platting (how much chance?)
- Chance of getting grains on every writ handed down, but now there are chances for chromium, zircon, etc...
With my maxed jewerly characters i was hoping to get majority of chromium grains, but now i get mostly zircon or even lesser grains. Do i understand that chromium grains chance of dropping stays the same, and which ZoS changed was the "no grains" result to "getting some minor grain in exchange"?
The final question: will we receive less chromium grains on the long run? Same quantity? or more?
What do you think about it? Getting zircon and other grains is ok but we already got plenty of purple, blue and green jewelry to decon and get grains. The important issue is the chromium grains. Drop rate should have been increased, and im not sure (too few days yet) to check if it´s happening.

✭✭I have had a few double chromium grain drops, but then again all the grains seem to have a double drop chance.
Too early too tell though if the overall amount of chromium grains has gone down, on my 18 characters doing writs I usually get enough chromium grains for just over 4 plating's, each week.
Mostly seeing Iridium grains(1 whole plating) drop, a tiny amount of green grains, some Zircon but from what I have seen so far chromium still drops at about the same rate as before factoring in the double drops.
I will withhold judgement till at least next week.
Haven't had any JC master writs yet though.0 -

✭✭I wasn't one complaining lol, but I have enough chromium plating for two full sets of jewelry atm, but have never had enough zircon for even one set.
Even deconing all my extra purple jewelry has hardly ever netted any grains for me.
