Was stuck on stage 9 boss pre update (first run) , managed to complete it post update but noticed some behavious seemed different and often needed to bash valkyn multiple times to interupt the channel (a few extra deaths this way). Was so happy i beat it despit the very tangible hit to both my shields.

Had been using the sorc pet build swapped out aegis and blockade for degeneration and destructive reach with ele drain and sst on the backbar the fact that single units went down faster is what saved me. Esp being able to dot all 3 crystals at the same time.
