Dark Exchange/Conversion CP scaling fits rules but ignores logic

Per the new patch notes:
Resource agnostic sources of Healing will now use your highest Critical Strike chance, rather than defaulting to your Spell Critical only.
The abilities listed below now properly use Precise Strikes to scale rather than Elfborn, since they are Stamina abilities.
The only problem with this is in actual game play these skills are used as a sustain tool as much as they are a heal. Hence, Dark Conversion (which costs stamina and will now scale off Precise Strikes) is used primarily by magicka-based sorcerers who won't have any CP into Precise Strikes.
The hits to MagSorc just keep on coming...

✭✭Yeah they seem to be confused.. Converting Magicka to Stamina is a stam ability, converting Stamina to Magicka is a magic ability. Trying to make it the other way around makes no sense, it just makes it less useful for everybody.2 -
Abhaya✭✭✭✭Yeah I haven’t seen a stamina sorc that uses dark conversion in the history of... ever? My question is: if they are making the base skill and morphs use your highest crit chance, why would they lock the abilities to a certain type of CP? ✭Dark Deal and it's morphs have always been outliers, in my opinion. Depending on the situation, a mag DPS might use either morph. I might actually need the heal and mag sustain, or if I'm doing portal team on vCR+ or vAS+2 then I might want the stam sustain with the heal. I don't have much experience with StamSorcs, but I imagine there are situation where both morphs might be used as well.1 -

✭✭Wut? This must be an error. Was it so in PTS too? (I did not PTS this one because EU chars were copied so late).
