What does this change mean? "agnostic sources of healing"

"Resource agnostic sources of Healing will now use your highest Critical Strike chance, rather than defaulting to your Spell Critical only. Resource agnostic refers to abilities that utilize only your Max Health to scale, or are based off flat values. Below is a list of all affected abilities:"
Affected skill:
Green Dragon blood, Battle roar, etc

Does this mean GDB and battle roar now scale off critical strike rating instead of HP ?

If so yet another nerf to stam DKs , since often they run low critical strike
4 GOs, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP over the last 8 years

It means that it still scales off HP, but it now uses the highest value crit you have to determine the chance of it critically healing.

So for your Stam DK, it will now use whichever is higher between spell and weapon crit.

This is opposed to resource-specific healing, like Vigor, which uses your weapon crit because its a stamina heal.

If you were using a stamina focused build, so this is assuming weapon critical was higher, and also using this skill then chance to achieve a critical was still based on your spell critical, instead of weapon critical. Now, after this update, whichever value is higher between the two will be used as the chance to achieve a critical.

There is no 'nerf' to this mechanic.

How can you not know what it is but call it a nerf ?

Do you see that little word, "if" ?

That is an implied conditional statement, better known as an "if..then" statement.

It's actually a buff. Weird thing is that SDK has problems building crit chance outside medium armor

I know what you put , the issue is you went straight to nerf. How does one come to a “if then” statement without knowing the mechanics of the skill. It would’ve been better to just ask whether you referred to it as a nerf or buff.
