Destruction Staff Light Attacks seem a bit OP recently.

I find myself getting horribly hurt in Cyordiil by destro staff light attacks, LA was the joke but now its far too overpowered. This relates to all of the game, why I put it in 'General'.
Can anybody enlighten me on why so overly buffed or give me a way to combat this? I can't spam defensive stance or wings as fast as these noobs spam.

This game is based on Cyrodiil, I feel ZoS need to tone down light attacks a bit, seems ridiculous the amount of damage they do now.4 -

probabkyravi✭✭✭Build issue, are u crazy? I play 5 years and stream, I have more strong PvP builds than sense.
Light attacks hurt more than they should, thats my issue. The game i simple enough without LA spam.

Then pvE-players will say skills are nerfed because of pvP-players...
Now you dont know how to play ? It's ok, just spam light attacks, no magicka/stam cost, and decent dmg.

PvE everyone wants easy ride, now how do ZoS balance this? Big respect to Zenimax but light attacks need a nerf (i think).1 -

Light Attack doing too much damage, Yes it has been buff massively with Sumerset.
Forum is tough place to post anything like this due to rude behaviour of other players and start bashing i.e. L2P etc.

hate to break it to you, but the game is NOT based on cyrodiil or pvp ( even if Zos likes to pretend it is) if pvp was all this game offered i'd have never stayed.Edited by Matthew_Galvanus on August 12, 2019 12:04PM10 -
probabkyravi✭✭✭With lag issues to do with Frankfurt server you can get hit by 5 LA in like 1 second. Ping and internet is not the issue at EU PC primetime, its the sheer number of players and Frankfurt just can't handle it, NA is fine because better server thingy. The LA thing is not nice, thats my point.1

✭✭Weaving when you live half a world away is a problem.
As an Aussie myself who used to play with 350+ ping before I started using a VPN, and still play with 250-300 ping, weaving is perfectly fine, once you get used to the delay. Slow down, don't overwhelm the game with actions, and you'll be good.1 -
probabkyravi✭✭✭I did my time in PvE and still do on NA for undaunted. Was 3rd group to do Veteran Sanctum Ophidia when it got buffed. The issue is light attacks got heavily buffed to promote PvE weaving and its exploited in PvP it seems.
I just want feedback not PvE vs PvP segregation. Both are fun.1 -

If you are serious on this thread:
1. You're too squishy to die with just LAs, adjust your build or playstyle. Also, in 2 seconds you can cast 2 skills... you didn't bother to heal or shield while 1v3ing?
2. Maybe unsync animations and you didn't just get LA to death, they probably just weaved a skill normally but your client just showed LAs to you, sometimes it happens in cyro. You could also be confusing flame reach animation with LAs if they are melee range and you have CC immune, wouldn't blame you to confuse it with LAs in the middle of chaos.
3. If you're on CP campaign there is a red CP nod that reduces player LAs, hugely underated and worth getting a few points into.Edited by Nevasca on August 12, 2019 12:17PM4 -

Its the PvE crowd that come to get alliance war skill line up that complain and cause nerfs.
Issue is light attacks seem overpowered, and Elves exploit this in Cyrodiil. They are just hitting too hard with no skill.4
