I have cancelled ESO+. I would rather put the same money into a proper subscription MMO that looks after its player base and most importantly respects the time and effort players have invested in their characters.

There isn't anything on the market that fits that bill, sadly. Here's hoping Amazon can save the industry.

It's a combination of escalation of commitment and a lack of alternatives on the market.

As long as ZOS keeps trying to balance PvP and PvE under a single, undivided skillset, it simply won't work. It never has, and it never will.

My magicka Necromancer actually got nerfed despite being universally considered the worst class in pvp

The dot meta, homogenous classes, clunky cast times; It all seems tone deaf and lopsided to me. I appreciate the willingness to make big changes, but I don't feel my opinions or play style have any weight in this process.

looking forward to better version of multicraft as part of the base game, adjusted JC writs, new furnishing recipes and unlocking the next wing of the lunar champion house.

everything else? varying degree of meh and well... playing these characters is going to be... interesting in "may you live in interesting times curse" sort of interesting way.

I'm looking forward to the new dungeons, but I'm not looking forward to the new lag and gamebreaking bugs that come with new release.

I’m quite biased due to Magdens being finally equal to other classes for single target damage. It means I don’t have to feel bad about bringing my main to end game trial progression. It’s still got issues of utility but they’re genuinely a contender for a raid spot now with their toolkit.

I have been through class and skill changes before. The sky was falling even then. I adapted and changed. I was a little sad that I could no longer play the way I wanted, but I rebuilt my character and continued.

Dungeon DLC. Waste of investment as far as I am concerned.

Why do I still play? Lack of viable alternative.

    About DLC:
Complete hardmode, speedrun and non-death and receive an awful memento that worse than any memento for gems (even voss-satl and argonian drum).

    About patch:
I'd like to see more fixes and better performance instead of flow of infinite nerfs.

Not excited at all mainly because I think this game needs an huge performance patching before pushing out any new content. Having new dungeons without a working dungeon finder is just non-sense.

In a second place, while I understand the effort of the combat team, I'm really scared we are going towards the same kind of class homogenization which I consider absolutely unhealty for any kind of MMO.

Anyhow, let's see how the patch will work out..

I was looking forward to the dungeons. But i wont be playing them with 500 ping.

Its disappointing as my usual group of friends look forward to the vet dlc hm challanges. But with all of us playing with 450-550 ping, its just not going to happen.

I'm excited. I don't know if I'm jump up and down excited but I am eager to see the new content in this update.

Two new dungeons which both seem very cool. We will finally be rid of a lot of RNG when it comes to Undaunted keys, thank Akatosh. Multi crafting will be added making the lives of crafters easier, yay.

And something some people may hate, some people may love. Certain (not all) skill lines coming to the crown store.

I'd say this patch has plenty of good stuff to be excited about.

I haven't even finished Murkmire yet, let alone started Wrathstone or Elsweyr, I'll probably get around to Scalebreaker eventually lol.
As for the nerf/changes. It will be like any previous gameplay changing patch. Wait, watch, learn, adapt and overcome.
Though the timing of the patch leaves something to be desired. Who thought releasing a new DLC in the middle of an event was a good idea? Guess I wont be getting that first vMA clear then (not for lack of trying over the weekend).

it seems a lot of the people that post that are excited didnt really read the details on the pts beyond the marketing news that zos posted ^^...they might be in for a rude awakening.

And even with them 60% people are unhappy, 20% are "meh" and only 20% are looking forward to it (7+)...that should tell zos something

Neutral. Didn't read the patch notes, didn't play for 2 months. Did log in twice but logged out quick due to lag.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Don't care about the dungeons. Looking forward to QOL changes. Combat changes are mostly OK for me.

Especially like the PvP changes. They've given me a reason to finally lay my Bosmer archer to rest, and then resurrect him as something that I hope will be even more fun.

More pointless changes that don't achieve any real goals towards improving balance.

This. From a personnal point of view only, of course, this patch breaks even further my Bosmer thief / nightblade. Racial patch killed stealth, previous skill "balancing" patches removed some utilities (oh, sorry, it "spreads" them, onto so many skills that I can't use them all in solo / duo play) or changed assassination's top skill into a tank one (and not even a good one), so... Momentum's morph Rally no longer healing over time isn't a welcome change. Magnum shot no longer allowing me to jump out of the way is not a welcome change. I probably forget a few things, but the patch notes will make a good job reminding me that there are other games out there to play until they get their s*** together.

As for the new content, well... As usual with every. single. dungeon. DLC... Not a single flying f*** to give.

As my wife words it about this update, "I will make do, but I really don't expect anything from it".

I put a five because I am mostly indifferent. New dungeons are nice, but not what I would consider the most exciting content to me. However, the new dungeons do look quite fun, mechanically.

As for the balance changes, I will adapt. Everyone will adapt, some people just like to get super dramatic about though.

I say again; if you are any good at the game, you will adapt
