With the Patch just over 12hrs away i thought i would create a space for fellow players to mourn the loss of a once beloved and mighty class, a place to share tales of hurt handed out in both PvP and PvE , a place to to remember the great days and forgive the salt.

✭✭✭✭✭Mag Sorcs may currently be a rather uninspired class, but they've beens strong af for a while now albeit boring to build. But the power of pet sorcs is just crazy. And yes I did get into playing one for a while to see what it was like and even without much practice 1vX was entirely possible and I could tank or kite multiple players for far longer than I would be able to on my stamina templar.2 -

Sure, pets in town are annoying AF, but that's no reason to laugh with glee at people who are disappointed by a massive change. I love the theme of a pet-based caster, and I'm disappointed in the nerf, but I'm far more disappointed in the community's reaction to it, and the general lack of empathy. ✭✭Don't remember much sympathy when Templar got nerfed into the ground, and I remember quite a bit of "overjoyed" ranged mag and Stam users when dk wings were radically changed. we wont know for sure until the natch potes are published later today, but as it stands i assume it is still going to happen, and yesit will be a crit heal proc0 -

✭✭✭✭✭As much as i mourn the usefulness of the pets being removed, it was over preforming. The amount of heals and damage i could provide in dlc dungeons while keeping up a steady 40k dps was disgusting. But it was blasphemous that a class which is not templar could off heal to such extent, so i rerolled a templar for the upcoming patch.2 -

Exactly. As a nightblade enthusiast I long called for nerfs to sorcs because I've been lead to understand that Sorcs and NBs are mortal enemies. I apologize, sorcs; if I had to choose between the class come tomorrow or the class as it stands today, I'd want you to have the latter. Don't tell the rest of the NBs though...

sorcs have been nerfed consistantly because of the lack of skill from the "meta" PvP builds and players, you complain about pets in PvP yet hug a rock because you cant fight in the open, every nerf the sorc has had has been inline with some class getting wrecked by X skill so call for its nerf and when you still get wrecked you cry for yet more, Sorcs are ridiculed as a "cheese" or an un skilled players choice, yet we have learned to counter every tactic thrown at us and overcome almost every nerf, pets are nothing more than portable rocks or WW's that dont need feeding or a breath of life spamable, to play a Sorc requires skill.7 -

Anything that leads to fewer pets in towns is something I'll be happy about. I would have preferred if ZOS did something on their end like make them invisible to other players in towns, but I'll take what I can get.2 -

Then you haven't been following that closely. Go lurk TRE a little to see what good players are parsing. Every magicka class is doing 97k+ basically, pet sorc included. Liko just put up a video showcasing pet sorc as well.3 -
