Loot Box/ Crown Crate Odds

Nintento, Sony and Microsoft will require game developers to release information on the odds of getting a particular item from a loot box by the end 2020.. Will Zos release this information before the end of 2020? Would this information reduce crown crate sales? What does the community think about this change and is it good for gaming in general?

I honestly don't think it'll make a lot of difference in current sales. California lottery (and all US state lotteries, as far as I know) have to post "odds of winning are yada yada", and even though odds in winning are like 1 in 300,000,000 or some such, the people that buy them still buy them, while the people that don't usually still don't

since my "personal" odds of buying a crown crate are 0, knowing that the odds of getting any one particular item are 1:10 or 1:10,000 makes no difference to me - I don't spend money on things that randomize my purchase...anymore (screw you heroclix)

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

There are already a number of threads on this subject as the news is now days old.

Did we seriously need a third/fourth topic about the same thing that’s already been said?
