Anyone not able to get back up from sitting?

Over the last year and a half or so of playing ESO, I have had an issue when taking a seat. Now, I am not intentionally taking a seat, this always happens when I am trying to grab/read/loot/inspect something, and I accidently take a seat rather than interacting with whatever item I was trying to get. The issue I have been having is, that when I sit, I cannot get back up. I am on Xbox NA, and I hit literally every single button on my controller, and nothing happens. I cannot get back up no matter what I do. I am really sick of having to select "Get Me Unstuck" from the help menu.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution that I am unaware of? It get's really annoying. Sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

I had that earlier in Wrothgar. If you do an emote it can get you up.

Like mentioned, just emote, or access the crates in the crown store, it'll force your character to stand up.

That happened to me a week ago. Just started a vSS run, go to loot the 1st nightstand, and WHAMMY stuck in the bloody chair right next to it. Thankfully, the emote trick freed me from sitting out the entire trial.

Well can beat that.
Yesterday I could not be resurrected, it was in vBrP where its kind of important

restarting the game did not help.

Last time I tried an outfit on in the store and it got me lose.

This problem has been around quite a while per past posts, yet nothing is done about it. Very annoying since it can stop you from playing and really interrupt delves or public dungeons, as just one example.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, so yeah, it happens.

(Also, yes. Stuck next to a character on a seat I didn't mean to sit on, had to reloadui)

I thought you mean irl, and I was 'so much yes!' The groaning and clutching at my back as I try to get out of my chair is shocking. As to in-game, yes I've had this a couple of times, like these guys have said, accessing crown store, doing an emote etc seems to make you stand up. It's annoying and embarassing though, I was doing the poachers' WB in Wrothgar and instead of looting a mob, sat on the bench by the camp-fire in the midst of battle.

I wish this kind of hint was on the loading screens. Most people don't visit the forum and 'try an emote' is not a obvious thing to try when stuck.

This same thing happened to me near the skyshard in Stitches. I killed the ogre, got the skyshard and went to loot some container, only to sit in a chair. I was stuck, no attempt to move worked, and thought I might need to teleport but using one of my attacks got me unstuck. I don’t remember which since I was just spamming buttons.

Well, since my hemorrhoids comboed with my back problem, chairs are out of the deal for me. Especially the low wooden ones.

I trigger the fast travel to player housing then walk forward to cancel it. I do the same in-game.
