Technically, pages shouldn’t drop on normal at all ...

Yes, because if someone can't complete VMA they shouldn't have any reason to run normal. None at all. Best to just have those people farm mats and get gold to buy from You, right?

There should be more incentive to do normal maelstrom if only to show people that its not the impossible task that they think it is. I do it on fresh alts with crafted sets. I also do vet maelstrom on my main but dont believe it should be the only way to get style pages.
If we start excluding people from events they just wont log in at all and the game will be empty.
Not sure why anyone would want to grind any content, especially MA for a butt-f'ugly motif, I guess beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

so would you also believe that maelstrom weapons should drop in normal then?

Its a kick in the face to anyone who is doing it on vet.
Why should you be rewarded for doing such easy content compared to its veteran version? Exactly, there are none. Honestly, you were lucky zos allowed pages to be dropped in normal
If you want the pages, farm it on vet or buy them
You literally said it yourself, how easy it is. I do normal MA with level 3 characters with no gear except the starting generic weapon plus what they find in the chests and no champion points assigned, and I'm a tank main. Anyone who thinks normal MA is in any way difficult is just wrong and one attempt from knowing better. It's so easy it would be completely OTT to let the motif drop freely in normal. Players who don't want to earn the rewards the hard way have ways of obtaining them with gold or cash. No one is excluded.PizzaCat82 wrote: »I do it on fresh alts with crafted sets. Sure if you're doing VMA anyway for the double drops, it makes sense, but normal MA drops crappy stuff, so doesn't it make sense to buy them with tickets? I'm confused by the whole thing to be honest. I don't particularly like the style myself but I get that some people want it to be exclusive to those who've completed VMA.
I assumed that you HAD to do MA to get them, then I went to get my next berry and saw the pages. Personally I'd prefer the event merchant to have Trinimac and Malacath pages instead. I couldn't epeen with my VMA weapon if I didn't actually HAVE a VMA weapon (which I don't), I'd feel a bit fake
PizzaCat82 wrote: »Some people want to spend their tickets on Indrik stuff, not style pages unless they have to. The main appeal of VMA is better weapons, not showing off the Epeen.. that's what titles are for.
Letting the pages drop more often in Normal MA would just make it less unbearable to farm. I'll use gold if I have to, but it really puts a damper on the event if most people have to buy them.
