The Lag on this steaming pile has left it unplayable

The lag has now become so insanely bad that it has left all normal playstyles our of the question for me, my abilities fire off eg. Relentless fury, ultimates etc. without anything happening but consuming the resources. Abilities like cloak will be used with no effect but consume resources gap closers close the gap but do no damage and leave me just porting around doing nothing its just outrageous how noticeably bad this games connection has become in one update. Animation cancelling is almost impossible, and causing me to dodge roll 2-3 times before a vigor is even applied.
To top this off a single target magica dot meta looks to be in full swing for next patch making the beyond easy fire and forget playstyle of dots combined with the ease of spamming ranged light attacks means as Im barely to even cast my abilities, an obscene number of entropy ticks, light attacks and glyphs will be dissolving me even if I’ve broken line of sight.

malistorr✭✭✭✭That sucks and it's too bad. I can only say I experience nothing like what you have. But I'm on a half-gig internet connection and have a really good PC and graphics card. I just hope that the complaints are really a problem with the other side and not just a bad computer or internet connection on the player side. I guess since you made a comment about just the last patch, that it's a new development. I know some of the bugs are getting fixed in a few days with update 23 so I guess give it a try then and maybe it will be better?1

burglar✭✭✭✭With the big patch before the elsweyr patch, I noticed the first audio issues, which was around the time they did a bunch of big updates to 'the database' to address some performance issues. Ever since that point the game's performance continually degrades...
What really drives me up a wall is that they likely know how to fix the issues, and will be fixing them when they go back and refactor their code - which is like proofreading an essay - but they're waiting until they can get all of the pieces they wanna place, 'on the board', so to speak. I'm guessing that rushing the process would only make things worse, but I'm surprised to see so many enduring issues at this stage of release, from people I thought were leading this industry. I mean, this game has some people working on it that were working on games during the origin systems days. Maybe I'm just used to these sorts of things in development being hidden from the consumer, but now it's like the gaming industry is wearing it's freak flag, loud and proud.Bosmer Melee Magicka Nightblade5 -
