Every one of those "unique" furniture items are craftable. Send me the necessary mats and I'll craft them all for you.

First we find out a motif was "UI" errored into making us think it was worth 6k crowns, then this crap about tickets for common craftable furntiure.

I know Bethesda has a history of over charging for skeever dung but this is ridiculous.

This ticket thing is really a bad idea I do not care about the different color mounts as I find the sound they make really annoying. So give me something that is Unique to this vendor use the tickets for.

I have all the tickets I can carry and nothing worth while to spend them on.

Well, there is the Maelstrom motif - buy it all and save the headache/time of running VMA.

Yeah I noticed a lot of the furniture wasn't "unique" as well. Much of it (if not all of it like you say) has been in the game for awhile now and can be obtained through crafting etc.

Has anyone gone and looked in the furnishing tab of the housing editor to see if they’re even worth the tickets by ZOS’s own metrics? I have doubts all those pieces of nonunique furniture sells for 300+ crowns apiece

I don't think there's a set conversion for tickets, what you have to do to obtain them is so varied. I would only buy Luxury Furnisher items or something similar for tickets, defintiely nothing craftable.

With each ticket costing 250 Crowns, the value being presented by ZOS is 250 Crowns for the Sconces, whereas you can get them in the store itself for 160 Crowns
    tumblr_pvyce16OkX1rvwwc9o2_640.png
The Brazier is 60 Crowns less that what's presented in the Impressario

    Edit: and tacking onto this

50k gold, is enough to buy the recipe for most of those items two or three times over.

Don't think purpose is to buy tickets for crowns and then buy furniture who can be crafted.
This is for players who has to many tickets and don't care for the maelstrom style weapons.
And yes its an bad deal.

Obviously there’s no expectation to buy tickets to buy furniture, but those tickets have an absolute value established by ZOS.

On top of that, the furniture items aren’t a ticket dump, they’re scams. Only a fresh off the block player wouldn’t know how cheaply available these items are. Only new players wouldn’t know it’s ripped from a crafting catalogue.

ZOS is charging the value of 250 crowns for an item they sell directly for 160.

At the absolute least, they should have made UNIQUE furnishing options available. This event’s offerings are a joke and a half.

ZOS, you are welcome to do whatever you want. Your game, your rules. You do realize that this makes you look like you're actively trying to rip off your players though, right? As long as you realize that's what it looks like and you're still willing to do it, I'll accept it. I'll make a note of it along with your outfit slot tokens and werewolf/vampire cures in the store. Let me get my notepad.

Since I opted to get one of the mounts and it's berries aren't until Q4, I have wasted tickets for the last several events. If I could spent a ticket on furniture and not use crowns or mats, I'd do it. Better than just letting the tickets go into the ether.

Perhaps it's just perspective. I don't see all the random stuff added to the Impressario as "they're trying to get us to buy Tickets!", I see them as "more options for people swimming in earned Tickets because they don't give a **** about the other stuff there."

Which is why I don't mind that these pieces of furniture can also be crafted - it's still something else I could spend tickets on, rather than letting my daily Tickets burn because I'm at 12/12. /shrug

I agree this is kinda trixy and sucks for folks who don't know this is base-Homestead furniture, but...

I'm pleased they didn't actually lock *unique* furniture behind event tickets.

... Sigh. You're welcome for the bad idea, guys.

Why do people keep bringing up buying tickets? Literally nowhere did I imply that was even remotely related

I simply said, objectively, using the values ZOS assigns to tickets (which is 250 Crowns), they are charging more to use a ticket (extra or not) than they charge if you buy it using the direct store.

The dropped Maelstrom pages can be sold to other players, so the sensical thing to do is get the berry, grab two pages you know you’ll want, and sell the extras. It makes zero sense to even look at the craftable furniture pieces. It’s always a bad deal.
