Transmutation Crystals

The earning of Transmutation Crystal's should be more evenly distributed across both the PVP AND PVE player base. Currently PvP players have more then they need and PvE players are in a constant grind for never enough and therefore are being forced into PvP content ,regardless of their choice of play style, in order to transmute their gear.

For every random battleground match you complete you are almost guaranteed a Gold Transmute Geode

You get regular coffers with Blue Geodes and sometimes Gold for simply participating in Cyrodill with a guaranteed 50 drop at the end of the Campaign (some restrictions apply)

In PvE however,

For Every Random Normal/Veteran Dungeon you simply get a Green Geode

Normal Pledges are Green Geodes

Vet Pledges without hard mode are Blue Geodes

You can complete Hard Modes of Veteran Dungeons for Pledges and STILL only recieve a PURPLE Geode

EVEN VETERAN TRIALS DON'T REWARD GOLD GEODES

Theres a massive imbalance between Transmute Crystal's in game that's simply absurd. Theres no reason why this cannot be made equal

PVE could get more, sure. Sure, it would benefit PVE players.

    But does it benefit ZOS?

Remember that ZOS doesnt want transmutation to be the primary way to obtain gear in the correct trait (jewelry excepted, but then again, ZOS didnt change transmutation for jewelry crafting). ZOS wants PVE players playing PVE content to be the primary way of obtaining that gear in the right trait.

So its unbalanced. PVEers have more chances to get the drop they want by actually running PVE content for it (jewelry traits excepted), whereas PVPers who transmute their gear presumably don't spend a lot of time running PVE content- instead ZOS focuses on maximizing their time in PVP. For PVE players, the transmute stones you get from running PVE content function more as insurance that eventually you'll be able to transmute it if you don't get lucky with the right trait first.

I guess I personally don't care if this gets increased, but I don't think it'll happen unless players can convincingly answer this question:

How does it benefit ZOS to make it easier for PVE players to acquire more transmutation stones instead of expecting PVE players who dislike PVP to simply grind PVE content for their gear?

Not saying it isn't easier to earn them in PvP but this is false. You get a green one from the battlegrounds daily (only if you come in first or second, so not guarenteed)

You do get a guaranteed gold one from your first rewards of the worthy each day and have a chance to get more if you rack up more rewards of the worthy but it is in no way a sure thing and doesn't equate to 'almost guaranteed' for every BG.

This topic has been discussed many times since the crystals arrived. Nothing has changed since. Do the math...

ZoS wont change stuff unless they can monetize it. I long thought (or hoped rather) that I was wrong, but its going to far these days.
