wish they would remove the random trash fillers like potions soul gems? seriously? SOUL GEMS!? poisons and even the 50% xp scrolls...but im 50/50 on that since its quite useful for new players yet u can still afford to buy mythic ambrosias after a while...the gold is always good but that only causing inflation(and 100k its pocket change for most of us anyway)...overall its just meh.

would be nice if daily rewards like other games would be something more useful like crafting materials or idk ap/telvar/gold...things we actually have a purpose for instead of meals/drinks/soul gems/research scrolls...sure crafting mats wouldn't rly be appealing to every1 and would cause major issues with the market if it gets 2 much but they can think of different stuff since I doubt anyone would like to see pets/mounts/costumes in each daily reward...wouldn't make them special...daily rewards this month feels like a pack of crown crates I swear

cuz that's what you get out of them mosty of the time...

At least I don't feel the need to login this month. I'd care more if they allowed converting items into gems, otherwise this month everything would be trashed

I expected something better to attract players in August, but no ZOS continues with these unnecessary daily rewards.

Let's talk about these rewards:
-Experiences Scrolls-> for all +810 CPs players are not needed and even +160 players forget to use them;
-Crowns Soul Gems-> occupy only space in the inventory;
-Instant Research-> nice but for me i miss only the last trait instead of 57 days = 56 days ... ok;
-Drinks-> if someone explains me the utility ....;
-Potions-> the best are the tri stat, for the other ok ... i can use them, maybe;
-Alliance Points-> for a game that bases its balance only in pvp are important ..;
-Gold-> Always good but not make me happy below 1 million;

The idea of converting rewards into gems or something useful is not bad, ZOS take note :P

100k isn't all that bad but for someone that's played for months it just seems like its nothing by now though so yeah could've been better imo

Well, since the daily dragon hunts in Elsweyr begun I consumed as many soul gems as I had during last year, so they could be useful

I guess most people are done all the traits already, at least on their crafters, but as someone only playing for ~4 months, I'm always excited to see Instant ___ Research scrolls. Just to push it along a bit. Finally getting into the 9th trait on 2 of the woodworking items, and jewelry is getting there, but the rest still have a ways to go.

I still don't know the best time to use exp scrolls. Seems like they're mostly "wasted" no matter what, unless you're grinding (never felt the need to do this) or doing dolmens (only until level 10). I've read some suggestions, but can't use most of them (pile up a bunch of master writs - still breaking into that; use one when you're about to win a BG, then dolmen while you queue for daily random - not bad, but meh@dolmen).

I think it was wise for ZOS to avoid a collectable this month.

This is the time of year most people have their family holidays, as much of the world is on summer break. If there were a unique costume, pet or mount right when lots of people were in another country, quite possibly without Internet access and near certainly no access to the game... There'd be complaints. Just look at the Bandaari pets to see how people will complain. (I agree with the complainants on the pets BTW)

I think ZOS knows that there is a sizeable portion of the community who feels they don't listen. By abstaining from a collectable this month, I feel ZOS is showing that they are aware people have lives, and don't want to "punish" people for having a life away from the game. At the end of the day, we can always earn Gold.

In my case I'm quite happy with it. I spent... A lot, on jewellery mats last night, and this 100k I'm getting in a few weeks makes the expense much less painful as of now. For that, ZOS has my gratitude.

Having started an n.a. account after the Easter debacle, I must say that I have found the purple food to be extremely useful, as I haven't got a purple recipe through the writ rewards yet, and I am saving my gold to buy the banker.

I use the trash pots on my Argonian Sap Tank so im not using expensive ones I need for harder content. Everything else is destroyed.

You can craft slightly better versions of some of the potions from alchemy, so no recipes required for those.
Check some of the gold recipes, as many of them apply and can be used from level 1.

I'm at the point where my research timers are starting to look pretty stupidly long, so those research scrolls will come in handy. And that 100k will probably get spent on motifs that I can't farm for myself (or have given up waiting for the RNG to realise that I'm still waiting for it to catch up with me)

It's not completely useless. 100k gold is always nice, and we can buy crates for gold so... and research scrolls and xp scrolls is also pretty good. Potions are useful too. The soul gems, food and drinks are pointless crap that should just get deleted, but it's easier to simply bank it, saves you the trouble of typing "DESTROY".
