Noobie Vampire Questions

So I have been infected with Vampirism, and I intend to have some fun with it for a while at least, before curing myself so I can try PvP.

I am lv30, and I understand that the Vampire quest is lv40, so I have been questing to get somewhere near that before my Vampirism timer runs out.

I have also started saving up Skill Points to put into the Vampire Skill Tree for when I complete the quest.

I am wondering however... when I cure myself eventually, are all those skill points invested in the Vampire skill tree completely wasted?

Also... what is the recommended level before I attempt the Vampire questline?

well,I did the vampire questline at lvl 18. It was a pain in the ass put it worked out eventually. I dont think you should have a problem with completing it at 30.

People on here have completed it at least as low as level 16. The technique of choice seems to be just to kite them. At level 30 you should be fine.

Thanks guys ^^, can anybody answer my question about what happens to skill points invested in Vampirism if I cure myself?

Also is there any sense in saving points now for the Vampire skill tree?

I assume they get refunded. You never really lose skill points. Even if they didn't, you could probably just respec before getting cured.
