We should talk about years instead of months, Cyrodiil performance was some priority in 2017 already as I remember, I was so dumb then I actually believed Cyrodiil would be much better next year, my bad indeed.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The issue is not Zos being aware of the issues with Cyrodiil's server performance. The issue is they either lack the technical knowledge or have it set at a low priority.
We know they are aware. They have even noted aspects of the game design that contribute to it. Since it has always been there and some improvements have been made while other loads have been added I really doubt it will ever be fixed.4 -

It is straightening itself out now but eveyone had to queue into cyro again was in the hundreds.1 -

I can't imagine it's a pleasant situation for their staff...the quarterly release schedule is 100% a financial/business decision, something the devs themselves have zero control over...
seriously, does anyone have any doubt that during each and every release there's a group full of very nervous zos employees whom know full well how "rushed" their work is...

✭That's really puzzling me, those issues. Since the recent race / skill changes, it's pretty obvious that the combat team just LOVES their PvP, to the point they don't mind spitting on lore and / or PvE gameplay in some cases to polish their vision of what a decent Pvp balance should be. Read it as "they listen to whiners way too much" if you will.
And yet, the PvP area is a lag disaster. How does that make any sense ?1
