While the Devs recently added lore reasons for NPCs to make necromancy criminal, they didnt extend that to regular Conjuration or summoning daedric pets. There's certainly no lore reasons from previous games, not even Oblivion, where NPCs didnt bat an eye even though daedra were literally pouring out of Oblivion Gates.
Moreover, I'll be honest, during the Anniversary event while everyone and their mother was crafting, I paid special attention to pets at crafting stations and writ turn-ins at Alinor and Vivec, hoping I'd see what the fuss was about.
Honestly? Every time a pet got in the way, I took maybe three steps to the side, and I was fine.
Maybe I was just lucky, but I doubt it.

I'm sorry man I bought and paid for this game so doing a walk around behind something that negates me from using something that I paid for ain't my way I'm not that type of customer man

Mexican Standoff.
If I have to do walk around to do something I paid for in the game then I should be allowed to do exploits as well but one's a bannable offense and the other is just an inconvenience did the terms of service only apply when you're doing something wrongVaranisArano wrote: »Nordic__Knights wrote: »VaranisArano wrote: »We've had a bunch of these threads recently. If you can't take a couple of steps...
Pro tip: don't craft in Vivec City. There's an NPC who likes to lounge in the middle of all the writ turn in boxes who's hit box was more annoying that the pets ever were.

How does it negate you from doing at a crafting table

One is summoning from another dimension, the other is reanimating the dead of what was once living in our dimension.
They are very different things in the eyes of the law in Elder Scrolls

This. Daedra summoning is a common practice in Tamriel. Members of both the Mage's Guild and Psijic Order do it extensively, despite being vehemently opposed to necromancy.
Do people still use public crafting stations? I have never experienced this problem in my life and if you can fix it by taking a step to the side it sounds completely irrelevant, there are more annoying bugs with chests and heavy sacks in dungeons as well as looting bosses.
On the subject of necromancy being ilegal, I understand that it makes sense lorewise and I appreciate the thought but after a while it stops being an interesting addition for the sake of immersion and starts being an annoying nuisance, making NPCs ignore this wouldn't be the first thing to go against the lore plus after all the vestige has done I'm sure the citizens of Tamriel would be willing to close their eyes to necromancy in a the ends justify the means sort of way. If not then they shouldn't praise all our deeds like they do because they'd be too disgusted by us doing it with necromancy.

There’s zero reason to pass the buck to Sorcs and Wardens.

It's not about needing them out, its about the fact that its a pain in the butt to unsummon them. If there was an easier way that didn't take a menu opening then more people I'm sure would be likely to drop the pets.
AS it is, you have to open your buff sheet and cancel the "buff" of having the pet out, or use an addon.
You should be lobbying ZOS to create and unsummon thats as easy as summon, then the players who don't unsummon can summarily be made fun of until they bend to your will.

Summon daedra and atronachs is part of Conjuration and is not illegal in Tamriel. Therefore not a criminal act.
As for the sorcerer and warden pets in crafting areas, banks etc, then those places could be implemented with a de-summon feature. Like how it is with mount-free areas. No messing with the lore and no pets in the way. Win-win.
