The Banished Cells - Should it be Locked like other bugged quests?

Will Banished Cells be deactivated while the spawn bug still exists?
I knew some quests were locked until further fix, but BC seems to be bugged for a while now
Yes bugs happen, and we did laugh after making it through to the end, tried logging and a few basic bug fixes
Is this quest worth locking for now to get it sorted and allow players to be aware that progress on that quest line is temporarily halted

I know a fix will come, but would be good to see this addressed as it is a common question in zone every day

They should be locked. Those that aren't aware that the dungeon is bugged can spend untold hours trying to get it to work in the belief that they are doing something wrong. It's not really fair to waste people's time like that.

I wonder if they could mark quest as currently on hold, so that way people are aware if they already have that.
Maybe a Door icon with an X through it saying Quest on Hold fix coming, people would be aware, and understanding a little more too

They won't because it is not bugged for everyone, just those who are unlucky enough to have it bug on them. I have been trying to do BC with various groups over the last few days and it was bugged with every group I tried and nothing any of these groups tried worked to fix it, it bugged every time. Yet, I see people in my guild chat talking about completing it with no bugs and people in my guild are running it in other groups at the same time I was and it worked for them. Discouraging to say the least.

I've tried every day since 5 day early access to do BC, every day it bugs. I have restarted/dropped/reclogged/teleported to player/ cried under my desk. Nothing works. I just want to do BC... that's all, I want to complete the last map icon that I have left on the first 3 maps.

Be Nice to have this sorted soon, or advised.
I do think a Hold/lock on this quest would help

Its just luck. Here's how bc worked for me. The first time I did it the npc you are first supposed to talk to was standing there talking to himself. We cleared to the end everything seemingly ok til the last boss just wasn't there.
The second time I did it the first npc I talked to was actual talking to a wood elf or some elf chick. We cleared and got to the end and the boss was there and we completed it.

Theres good loot in there but a note saying the quest is currently under maintenance could turn people around at the quest giver. Or they can keep clearing it for chance at good drops. It was fun going through with a group even though we couldn't complete it.

I thought zenimax fixed it? I ran it with no problems, and everybody that I have talked to also has not had any problems

7th run now, still no complete. Annoying because I know some others have actually managed to complete it.

I did it last afternoon without any issues. Ran very smoothly, I would suggest you try it again?

Last time around the banished cells was bugged for me but after a recent maintaince the dungeon worked fine I suggest re-running it.

(its bugged if the first keeper doesn't show up at the end of each of the boss fights surrounding the captured keepers)

Its bugged either way. 1 for the fact the NPCs didn't work. 2 when the NPCs actually worked, the mobs in an entire area/room would come after you instead of in small groups at a time. EH was the same way. Its pretty hard to clear with 2 or 3 healers in these instances. This definitely needs to be looked into.
