Well I am interested in both PvE and PvP but so far the comments show a quite dark picture of the class.
Thank you, everyone, for all the answers I guess I will play something else and keep hoping that at some point they will buff stamplar.
Hey, I always liked the paladin type characters so I am curious how is Stamina Templar doing now and how will the next patch affect them?
On the other hand, Stamia Templar Healer might be possible next patch, at least for 4-man content, although it's missing some non-curcumstantial burst heal potential.
So you can walk in with medium armor (heavy armor outfit override) and a 2h and be that Paladin/Knight with melee and good group healing that I've seen people talk about wanting before.
In PvP, the purge counters the one weakness of stamina builds... Defiles. Dot pressure next patch will be up and purge saves the day there. Stamplar also stacks some of the easiest burst in game and has access to two rare buffs, minor fracture and minor mending which are both invaluable.
Long story short, if you can play low sustain builds you have massive power and if you build sustain, you'll have a similar power to other Stam builds (and greater than mag excluding sorc) on an easier setup.
In PvP it is therefore very powerful and easier to play so long as you aren't a beginner level struggling to rotate a few buffs.
In PvE it is so bad it isn't even worth talking about.
Advice? Make a stamplar PvPer and make a different class for pve
