has anyone EVER gotten 10 or even a high number? It seems 90% of mine - and i just went through 50 of em, contain 2 and 10% contain 4 crystals...

✭✭✭✭✭I asked this question about two years ago.
The general consensus was, and still is, that the number of crystals you get isn't true RNG, but heavily weighted.
With true RNG, you'd be seeing any number randomly. My original question was something like "If it's RNG, wouldn't I have seen alot more 5, 6 , and 7 crystals at some point? Why is it almost always 2?" Weighted RNG was the answer.
Weighted RNG, meaning something like 99% chance for 2 crystal's...80% chance for 4...0.1% chance for 10. (Not exact % chance, just being hyperbolic.)

But yes, the chance is not evenly distributed. Lower numbers have a much higher chance than the upper end.0 -
Freakin_Hytte✭✭✭✭✭I also think it's weighted pretty heavily. It's the same with golden nodes. I've opened hundreds of them and I've only 15 as highest and I've gotten 15 stones about 2-3 times, 10 stones about times 30 times, the rest are 1-5 stones. I've never even heard of anyone getting 25.0
