At 200 you are unlikely to have gear for it, your cp is also a bit low. At 400 this has changed.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

If you know what you are doing and have the right gear, 160 is fine.
I'd rather have a competent 160 than a max cp with no idea.

That said i find 300 is a good number. By then you should have gear and experience, and enough cp bonus.

For non HM ? 200 should be enough i guess if you are good with a good team, cause without the red cp you will take a lot of damage...

For HM ? Again if you are in a good team, maybe 400?

300 CP is usually a decent guideline - you have all the attribute bonuses at that stage, and enough CP to spend on important things. Be much lower, and incoming damage starts being an issue.
That said, it is very much dependent on your skill level. CP has nothing to do with skill level, unfortunately.

Agree. Until 300cp you get important bonuses from allocating cp.

@radiostar You're poll misses this mark for the reasons pointed.

For someone who already knows what they're doing? Any CP level. For someone learning? I would suggest 300.

160 for gear is plenty. We don't ask for anything more, for any normal trial. But we teach our new kids how to play, so that helps. This is about vet trials. I say 300cp. It's early for me. Shhh.

This is specifically about veteran trials, though...

    Oh it sure is lmaooo.

I should have more coffee before trying to read.

In that case, 300 yeah. xD As a general rule. Although I think individual basis differs -- I've known more than one DPS who could pull 40k+ way before they hit 300cp, and healers who do quite well under that mark as well. Tanks, though, tend to struggle in my experience.

Every single encounter in trials are doable with 340 cp . After that diminishing return your not seeing much difference between 340 and max in pve. Not sure about pvp I think there is a larger gap

If you are a dedicated healer. At around 400 CP you should be more than ready. You just have less room for error which that amount of CP.

I was successfully healing vet Crag trials before I reached CP 300. It's a little more difficult for sure since the player won't have as much damage mitigation or sustain, but as long as they play skillfully and have the correct gear they can do it.

300+, for now. Next week it won’t matter because healers will be replaced by additional stam dps running vigor.

I mostly see cp300 as the mark, but as a recruiter I'll at least consider people above cp200, if they have decent gear and some other clears. People just above cp160 likely don't have their gear in order, they have few CP to work with, and (except MMO vets and alt accounts) people just north of the cp160 mark are usually still learning the game (i.e. more suited for norm trials).

Honestly, I've been asking for vMA clears when recruiting vet trials--you can't buy a carry for that, and it's (imo) the most relevant clear for end-game participation.

I was going to click "Not An Issue (heals is heals)" but then read "VET".

If you are asking of BOTH healers are this, I would say both should have an average of 600CP between them so if one is 810 and one is 400, I am cool with that. But if both are 400, ehhhhhhhh I would be slightly hesitant. Could probably be done since they are Craglorn trials but I would rather be safe.
