PC cheesers have moved on to overload heavy attack builds.

    There's always something 😑

Its on console too. Nowhere near as bad though.

The only solace is bagging the people who fail with their bash. The thing is, when its done right it will literally insta kill you. And I usually run around with 27-35k resistance and 25-27k health. And still i get hit with invasion and then insta killed. Unreal how they let this *** go on.

Yeah, it’s BS. A particularly spineless basher transformed behind me from stealth the other day while I was on my resistance-capped 29k health healer, stunned me, and destroyed me before I could even break free. I didn’t even see it coming, I was just dead. A standard NB ganker specifically built for one shots from stealth wouldn’t even get my health down to 50% before I’d have a chance to break free and recover.

It’s shameful that ZOS made basher builds possible, and the trolls who run these builds are just as culpable. How bad must you be at PVP to get your jollies from wasting an expensive, broken ultimate on one player? Such a joke.

We finally got word from zos yesterday that we are going to have to wait until the next content update to get the fix.

So the timeline is as follows:

    1. ZOS releases an absurdly broken build in Bash Necro.
    2. At the end of June, they acknowledge that it is utterly overpowered and push a hot fix, but only for PC.
    3. Silence for the entire month of July despite dozens of requests for comment about when console will see the fix. During this time console does receive a patch, but the bash necro fix is not included.
    4. Come August 1st, ZOS finally speaks and says we are going to have to wait till the end of August to get the fix on console. And they provide no reason for the 2 month difference between PC and console regarding fixing this serious problem.

Everyone who plays on PS4 or Xbox and wants to be able to enjoy PVP has a right to be pretty infuriated about this.

Yep. I haven’t logged in for days, since my last play session in Cyro in which every death recap featured bash spam (I’m not exaggerating. Every death recap). Short of playing in open fields between keeps, there’s no way to avoid necro bash at the moment. It’s ridiculous, and I frankly find it laughable that the devs thought it was okay to push the fix ahead to the next DLC. Way to treat your console players like valued customers...

And yet they managed to release *part* of one of PC’s patches fairly recently; they just apparently didn’t seem to think that including the necro bash part of the patch was a priority.

The worst bit of this is knowing the only reason its not fixed is because they don't want to pay for the hot-fix.

No matter how much they rake in from the crown store a genuine gameplay ruining situation isn't deemed worthy of correcting.

Now I put it this way it tells me everything I need to know about my relationship with ZoS.

Other console MMO type games manage a timely fix (if they have one) ESO is the only one I know of that actively withholds them.

Unlike PC, it takes extra resources to push console patches through PlayStation and Microsoft certification processes. Apparently, ZOS decided it wasn't worth the time/money to timely correct their huge Bash Necro mistake for console players.

Yeah this is endlessly infuriating on Xbox NA, I dont even want to play cyro until this gets fixed. Console already gets *** on in every regard, it just shows that ZOS doesn't give a *** about us console players... its honestly getting embarrassing to play this game on console. I've resorted to playing stam DK and holding my corrosive until I see a basher, then proceed to stand in the bash and pk them. I usually never do this but I make a point to t-bag endlessly on their shameful shriveled body.

@Donny_Vito um we'd have to go through a few years worth of posts. The consoles have to go through extra steps because of Microsoft and Sony that PC doesn't. It costs time and money to push anything through.

They posted all this back in the beginning. It's there, we just don't wanna do the work of finding it.

Specifically no, unless you have an account at https://partners.playstation.net/ but its been well known since the ps3 / 360 days. Most talk about this was when both sides were courting indie games to develop under their banners. Things like the first hotfix after a release would be a freebie and IIRC MS were waiving indie game hotfix fees entirely after a while. Sony have always been very cagey on this subject.

Release a game? it has to go through certification and that has a cost. Release a hot-fix? that has to go through certification too. The hot-fix certification can be a lighter process but its still certification and still has a cost.

Well thanks for the information. The reason for it is because zos treats console players as second rate citizen. You see it here with patches to major issues, and you see it in many other areas, when it comes to pc vs console, as well.
