Might be your ISP mate, mines been fine, 60ping no lag... Not always zos's fault you know... Lol 😂🤦🏾♂️
Locking up your entire system and forcing a hard reboot is indicative of a problem specific to your pc rather than caused by the game. Have you applied any OS or driver updates lately? Drivers are really common culprits in things like this
Don't have these problem but sine today I got huge random FPS drop..
Was happy to have fix it 2 month ago and here we go again, even with everything in low fps just go crazy for no f***** reason...
If the perf patch is not gonna fix these issue, I'll probably stop to play, it just not enjoyable at all and prevent me to do any serious content..

Usally the crash follows right after a lag-spike, or even before getting properly in-game.
When in-game, my latency is suddenly through the roof. Used to be around 30 a year ago, the past 6 months it was around 90, and now its suddenly 300+ with spikes well over the 999+.
Dont know what ZoS did today, but has anyone else noticed these problems all of the sudden?

You would say, but no. Its just that the error that is supposed to close down ESO doesnt correctly.

They haven't made any changes as there was no patch. Maintenance was at their end, probably just server reboot and associated tweaks. I am PC EU UK and have no issues. It could be coincidental that during yesterday morning some other device was updated which is actually causing you problems. Try using system restore to go back to a time before yesterday's maintenance, Sunday for example.

I checked, and nothing has updated. Usally when ESO crashed I got the ZoS Crash-reporter. After the downtime, its suddenly an invisible error-message, with just the ESO cursor being stuck in Windows and ESO failing to close down properly forcing me to reboot.
There is no big patch yet for the PC.

Yeah looks like your end mate, I asked in the guild, all is fine. Run a virus/malware check and try the system restore if that doesn't find anything.
Sounds like the fluid in your flux capacitor is running low. Top up the Selenium and we should be good to go.

Ran my virusscanner / antimalware thingy, yielded nothing. Same with the systemrestore. The error-message as far as I can tell now says there was an unexpected termination of the connection to the server. Sounds possible as I got huge lagspikes since the downtime as well.

I'm not going to say you're right or wrong....but i've had significantly more lag since the Sunday/Monday maintenance than I've had the last few months.
I know my ISP is running through old lines to my house so i get ping spikes commonly, but this most recent lag has been FPS loss, and huge game/server desync + input lag.
So i'm with you, something has changed, and its not good lol
