A few members of my guild and I have tried to complete the Kings of the Grotto quest a few times and the Chief does not become loot-able by any of us. 2 of the group members have already finished the quest but I hope that is not the cause of the problem as this will discourage anyone from wanted to help others as we level up and new members reach these areas.

    That should be fine after abandon quest and start once again from beginning. You need to make sure, all ppl in your group are at the same quest stage.
