Why isn't ESO Plus a month instead of 30 days?

No, this is not because of extra days. If you've paid for 6 years, that one month is really just peanuts. You saved more by paying for longer durations at once.

This simply originates from accounting and I've learned that long before even knowing what an MMO is. 30 days a month, 360 days a year. That makes it a lot easier for billing, setting time limits, etc. That's about it.

And for those having issues with two payments in a month: I totally get it. However, there's a very simple and effective solution to this:

Get some family or friend to lend you the money for two months, then subscribe for three months instead of a single month. Give back the money whenever you can. From that moment on, you pay for 3 months, save the money from the two months where you don't pay, then pay 3 months at once again. Unless you're not allowed to carry over money from last month, this should solve those issues when – once in a while – two charges drop into one month. Or you just ask friends whenever that happens (since it's actually rather rare).

But...there is an extra payment bonus for ZOS at the 6 year mark. :)

Mmm... a very good question indeed. An average year last 365.25 days, divided by 12 months results in an average duration of 30.44 days. Zenimax cuts us short for 5 days, including all the downtime brings this up to at least a whole month. Ok, that might be a little exaggerated but I think we have a case for compensation. How about a few of those crown crates Zenimax? I always wondered what was inside them.

They actually rob you of more time when dealing with that broken ass guild bank system. The number of days spent having to deal with it was well over 125 days. I was here since the beginning, no breaks lasting longer than 3 days. I know for certain i average over 345 day out of the year logged in, but I was nice and dropped the number down to 300 days to lowball. I can easily eat 2+hours moving things around via guild banks now lets do some easy math. 2 hours x 300 days is 600 hours, 600 hours per year x 5 years gets you 3000 hours. 3000 hours /24 hours in a day is you guessed it 125 days spent due to the broken ass guild banking system. They rob you of more than 5 days. So nice finding out that they sold 4 months worth of sub from me.
